When, after being in near-constant retreat since the advent of science, are you going to finally acquiesce to the realization that god does not exist per se, but rather is simply a manmade construct and an instrument of control over others?

A dangerous construct, at that! How many have killed in the name of Sir Isaac Newton versus how many have killed in the name of their own god?

you know whats funny thing about you atheist people... I'm sorry But you need to have more faith to believe the big bang theory and the theory of coming from monkeys more than you need to have faith that there is a God... You say that there is scientific evidence and you constantly try to prove Christianity wrong. You live your life based on thatbut i chose to believe i was created by the most wonderful God ever... I refuse to believe that i came from a monkey... If you want to go ahead pick at your butt all day and sling your own crap to one another of your atheist Buddy's and chew on bananas all day go ahead... but you just want to keep living an excuse to keep living your life your own way, like fornicating and sining but of course the day that he comes will be the day that every knee shall bow and every toungue shall confess that he is God... you shall give account to every single word that came out of your mouth. May the Lord Have mercy on you... you'll wont be able to run back and change time... you'll be regreting ever secound of the day that you believed in a Theory... because that's exactly what it is... A theory... nothing more... you can't find proof... rather than if you give God a chance you'll see how real he is...

Why should it bother you that people need a religion? If you have been enlighten so be it and good for you. Why this uncontrollable need of human beings to impose what they think to be true on others, be religious or not? May the Force be with you, and the gods protect us. Smile and be happy.

Never. I will never turn my back on God. How has science disproved God? It hasn't. All you have are these half baked theories. You will never prove that God is not real...Because He is. Newton and others like him, simply "discovered" something that God had already spoke into existence. God bless you.

Isaac Newton was a Christian. it'd be better to use say Hawking, for the "nihilism is better" arguement vs religion.

I'm not gunna give up God, but I believe religion will end when the world does.

I don't think you'll ever be able to convince someone away from their religion based on science's advances and the number of people killed in the name of God.

For religious people, those deaths were justified.

I support your intentions, but I don't think this is the best way of going about it.

I don't think anyone has killed in the name of Isis for damn near 2000 years. I don't think I'm too dangerous...

Typical atheist arrogance.

How much do YOU know about science, dickwad? I'm guessing not much.

When are YOU giving up YOUR religion of Darwinism?

I am not giving up on my faith; religion is another matter.

As to an instrument of control over others, that could be sex, money, fame, power. greed, name your poison.
