What do you think?

I have a problem with secrecy and never questioning a leader if what you hear about him or the church is true. I kept hearing commandment to the church, church demands everything, church has been restored, can't talk about the Temple and what goes on, ancient Israelites coming to the Americas, excommunication and the whole family losing its salvation. Where is God in all of this? I see a lot of man-made goings on.

The Taj Mahal is a beautiful sight. Have all Atheists seen it for themselves? Radiation hurts, juipter has moons, the moon has potholes, gravity is what keeps one stuck on earth while it spins - do all these facts need further proof for the atheists if they have not experienced them first hand or is it OK for them to believe Scientists and teachers who are humans? Then why is it difficult for them to believe that there is a infinite lot that humans do not know and one who knows all that is God, faith in God gives peace, patience, and promotes love, while making life more liveable, religion is but a convinient procedure (like socially accepted manners) to remember God, and like the Taj does not benefit if people visit it, science does not benefit from my trust in it, similarly God loves everybody.

If there are some men and women who are "athiest," does it not stand to reason that there should be some who are "athier," or even just "athy?"

I mean really...choosing a dumb figure from a dumb religion to be a god? Like believing in the Greek mythologies, and choosing Zeus's former shoe-shine boy.

What purpose would religion serve if there were no need of an after life?

for those who put god before everything... why do you fear what nobody has ever really seen? i know nobody has ever seen hell. i'm sure there are plenty of people who claim to have been through personal hells in their lives, but is it really the same thing as spending an eternity being burned? also, why do you place a being that nobody has really ever seen before your family and your friends? i just don't understand this. is there any reason why a god would want this of anyone, especially a loving god?

because of the Jew's wickedness, they were destroyed by being overran by different people's and cultures and that is what God is doing to America (USA). We are being overrun by other cultures and non-Christian cultures. Do you believe that this is a form of punishment?

Per the teaching of the mormon faith. They the elders can remove your salvation both in the earth temple and and in the time to come.

Yeat Jesus said this. John 6:39 "This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing,
but should raise it up at the last day. 40 "And this it the will of Him who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and i will raise him
up at the last day.

Jesus declares that all those whom the father gives to him are his for all times.

So explain how the Mormon church uses this teaching to punish people when it is against the word of Christ?

Please explain were in the scripture it is ok to lie to people about what Jesus said?

Please explain when lieing is rightious and not a lie?

Please explain how the men in your church claim authority greater then the "words of Jesus" ?

No it's not a riddle. I am agnostic. I miss the social aspect of church, just not the religious aspect of it. I can't stand going to bars, or getting drunk, any of the "life in the fast lane" kind of stuff, yet I just don't know how else to meet people. Until I was 23, I met people at church and made friends that way. Any ideas on how I can meet people with morals, but not zealously religious either (that means any religion).

I admitt that ever since I learned about Islam, historically, in doctrine and in todays world, I have become filled with contempt for the greatest force of savage self righteousness ever cursed on humanity....but I have yet to be convinced by silly Christians or leftists that "hate" is always bad...sometimes its necessary for self preservation...granted it can get out of control.

What should I have felt when I first read the accounts, hidden from my previously ethnocentric education, of historys greatest genocide?

WARNING: BEFORE YOU KNEE JERK APOLOGETICS FOR THE GREATEST GENOCIDE IN ALL HUMAN HISTORY...READ ABOUT THE F**** THING FIRST.

Although I am agnostic, I neverthless say, surely there can be no heaven or eternal reward for any filthy person who willingly or by negligence would apologize or minimize genocide.

The citation I shall post below is literally from the most credible scholar on the period BEFORE 911!!! No axe to grind here.

I'm worried about going to hell, and the whole prospect of hell. Although I am Catholic, lately, I have been more philosophical and I believe in a unity with all religions. I think that religions sometimes cause unneeded conflict due to extreme beliefs about who's right or wrong. I sometimes wonder if hell is literal or metaphorical, whether in the mind belief we are creators of own realities, so with higher consciousness we sort of are God. Some people said that Jesus was a mystic, and that his teachings were said on a literal when they were metaphorical. I'm divided by what I should believe in. I beleive in possibilities and not really conclusions. I'm afraid that because of these beliefs, if there is a literal hell and God will put me there, I just don't know what to think? My purpose is to bring love in the world, and I love everyone...I wouldn't want anyone (despite what they may have done) to go to eternal hell. I don't want to live in this fear..

This is going to sound incredibly strange, but I just read the Da Vinci Code, and I was extremely interested in the religious aspect of it, and so I started researching about the Pagan religion (even though I found out that the term "Pagan" is a sort of derogatory word for the 'religion') I don't fully understand what the beliefs are or much else (I found a lot of information on wikipedia[laugh at me aaall you like], but a lot of it just confused me even more). If anyone could maybe give me a little bit of information of basic 'Paganism' (since I know it branches off into a LOT of different religious groups), that would be awesome. Thank you!

I am an amateur choir conductor in church and have no past experience in leading the choir. I have been leading the choir for 2 years, and realised that if I do not do anything to improve the choir, the choir will never grow. They have somehow become accustomed to a stagnant stage which I felt was not the right way.

1)How do I get my sopranos to sing beyond their comfortable range? They can only sing up to E note (one oct above middle C)

2) How do I get them to blend properly?

3) How do I harmonize them? Some of the singers are good, but they tend to be too loud. Is there any other way to let them know other than telling them?

4) What kind of warm-ups available for them?

5) How do I fully maximise less than 1.5 hrs to teach them a new song?

6)Where can I find nice simple christian choral scores?

7) How can I help them project their sound better?

I know this may seem elementary, but I'm going through some thinking and I stumbled upon this question. I really only want to know from a Christian standpoint, so please don't just answer "He wasn't perfect," unless you have some backing. Thanks for your help.

if you don't believe in God, this assumes you have a definition of what he isn't, unless it's just another blind faith that no definition will suffice. so, what is God not?
