You are so right it, isn't the end. Where do we go?
Our father says he has a place for us to go. It is so beautiful that the human mind can't even imagine it. He says it is there that we will live in peace and be at rest. We will have forever to do the things we enjoy with out time constraints . There will be no poverty, ghettos or drugs. No crime. Pride and arrogance will be no more. He further promises that there will be no boredom, sickness ,aging or tears. I can't wait.............. I can't wait.

Ok, literal answer to your question.
"when it has all been said and done, worked and played "
Then, in that moment, we shall have completed the 'humans having freewill to create all potentialities in the physical realm - level 1' game.
At that point we will be ready to move up to the next level, just like 'Dungeons and Dragons' or whatever ( don't disruptor me into quarks, I don't know much about the evolution of computer adventure games, only physical world ones ! ).
We pick a few points, get to change the 'uniforms', drop the apparently semi-permanent monkey suits, rest up a bit, and get on with the 'humans experiencing life in the energetic realm - level 2' game.
It isn't the end of the story, not by any means, it never ends until we stop writing it.
And that's the key to understanding all, we are making it all up as we go along !

It comes down to the present moment. This moment is the entire point of existence. There's no goal or endpoint in life, in the same way that we don't listen to music or read a story just to get to the end of it; if we did, there would only be finales and final chapters.
I don't know what you mean by "I don't believe here is the end of the story." Are you talking about an afterlife? I don't think there is one, but that's just me. And that's why this moment is so important to me. It's the only one we have. The past is irrevocably lost, the future just a prediction of what we want or think will happen. When the future does get here, it's just the present moment.

Sure, of course it does... no matter how many years we live there are so many things just here on earth to learn that we ourselves never know. Not that they are unknowable, we just run out of time. Why would God give us such a marvelous intellect to be able to decode why a baby's crying, learn how to drive a car, interpret Quantum Physics (ok, ok, not me, but other people), sing a song, love someone with all that we have... why would God give us such a marvelous device as a mind which scientists say that we barely tap into before we die if he didn't intend for learning to be one of the Primary things for all Eternity? I believe that forever we will be gaining knowledge and that heaven will never, ever be boring. And here is most definitely not the end of the story. This is much more like Chapter One. There is a song I really like that says, "It's the story of my life and every word is true. Each chapter sings Your Name, each page begins with You. It's the story of our time and never letting go and if I died today I wanted you to know." It's of course a love song, but I think it fits for God even better. And where do we go from here? To quote Reepicheep in the Chronicles of Narnia: "Further up! And further in!" See you in God's Glorious Kingdom!

Well, why don't you? What reason do you have to believe that this isn't the end of the story? Think really long and hard about those reasons and then ask yourself: Do you believe this because you have reason, or do you believe this because you want it to be so? Wanting things to be a certain way does not make them that way. Find reality.

No, here is the story. It is all we have. Have you ever been in the past or future? When you close your eyes, they may not open again. So relish those moments before blissful slumber as they were the last. Your story will end, as mine will. How will it read?

The question isn't "where do we go from here?"... but rather where do YOU go from here.
No one goes to Heaven in Pairs.
The door to Hell is single wide also.
When you've taken your last breath in this life, you will rise to Heaven or descend into Hell based entirely on the answer you gave to this question...
"What shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?"
Will you accept Him as Savior?
Will you reject Him and the sacrifice He made for you?
Forget religion.
Disregard tradition and rituals.
Put your heart and face in His Holy Book and call on His name asking HIM the question you asked here.
Don't gamble Eternity on your feelings or intellect.
Give your heart and life to Him while there's still time.
If you disregard these words of mine and reject Him, He will remind you of these words after you've died and tell you I was right and you should have listened.
If I am wrong, He will let me know the same when I see Him face to face.

Yes and that means how do we end all suffering and return to the eternal spiritual kingdom at the end of this life. How can I spend my time preparing for that moment of death which is the determining factor of where I will go in my next existence. What ever one thinks of at the time of death they are sure to attain. If one wants to return home they must think of God with no other material desires. I call Him Krishna, others, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc. World peace. My God is your God.
