Particularly in comparison with other religions. If any muslims could answer as well, that would be very helpful. Nothing disrespectful, please.

Several years ago a girl-friends new fella told me i had the deepest soul of anyone he had ever met. This really touched me despite not knowing what it really meant & he assured me it was a compliment.
However after a few years of several emotional challenges im beginning to feel that its more like the curse from the deep.
Does a deep soul mean you are very sensitive thus emotionally vunerable?
If so how can you block out the negative, emotional stuff without comprimising who you are?

WAKE up WORLD?
One side of story is the world in west run by oil mafia who want to fool there people by making them believe that islam is about voilence which gives them free hand to start illegal wars and do money laundering by stealing the tax payer dollars. There media helps them by showing only the voilence.
On the other hand some uneducated foolish mullahs keep telling there people that there are crusades happening, get ready for jihad which gets mullahs alot of money and later they take that money and runaway.
1) Freedom and democracy means listening, cummunicating and presenting your ideas AND only love conqures hate
2) Jihad means fighting agaist your own ego, being loyal to ur spouse not fall for lust, always thinking that power belongs to God therefore one should not misuse it with whatever authority they have. Standing against oppression in only a minor form of jihad.
WHAT CAN YOU DO BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY ONLY INNOCENTS ARE SUFFERING? They rely on us!

I got a violation once for recommending someone read Carl Sagan's Cosmos for an explanation of.......the cosmos!

Everyday, christians ask for proof of evolution, get pointed to www.talkorigins.com , but don't check it out.

I actually check out a lot of the sites that christians post links for, and links that atheists post. I've checked alot of the bible references that christians direct me to as well. I'm still an atheist and I'm not scared that material I read will change that. I enjoy gaining knowledge.

When I've asked similar questions, many christians have proudly declared that they have no interest in reading the evidence we put forward.

Are they scared they'll lose their faith?

Ive met people who are mentally handicapped who couldnt eat for days at a time because he was so poor. i met a family where the grandmother was 25 years old. i met a family where a mother used to let men touch her daughter for crack. ive seen my fathers house been basically torn apart because of domestic violence. what about all of that stuff. roses and nature and the stars....thats god, but what about the other stuff i said? if that is really god, i want no part

I said that technically im bisexual, but I only go with girls, and nobody knows I like guys too. I think its nasty, and I love God, so I only use those "thoughts" in the "bathroom"
I'm also already saved, and as long as I don't do anything with those sinning thoughts, then I can still go to Heaven, because I don't want to go any where with those thoughts. Right?

Really believe in god and the bible or are you just trying to prove a point?
The point being that your denominational interpretation of the bible is the right one and everyone else has got it wrong.
Cut & Paste bible quote answers not acceptable, anyone can do that!
Think for yourself for once and construct a logical answer for an intersesting observation.

I am a Wiccan and I have recently moved to Hebron, Ohio.
I was forced to leave the only other Wiccan family I knew. So now I search for other wiccans in this area to ask for their help in my study and practice. I know of the solitary rituals, but it is impossible to do other such magicks without help.

I hope to hear of you soon.
Blessed Be.

I mean, it is. I'm just wondering if anyone out there actually thinks it isn't.

It is very much not a victimless crime. Talk about screwing up someone's sexuality.

Yeah, I know. I know. You had someone tell you mean things in church when you where 8, so that screwed you up too. Also, I'm really a meanie for questioning why some people adore porn.

Just remember, next time you are watching that garbage, there is more than likely a drug addicted woman being taken advantage of by a bunch of guys for money. A woman who is a daughter. A sister. Maybe a mother.

What do you especially thank God for today? Every day is special. And I know that we have ALL to be thankful to God for, but I like to just come out and "voice" my gratitude to the Father sometime.

I'm thankful that He has blessed me to be called "one of His own". I thank Him for His PERFECT plan of redemption thru Jesus Christ. If you're a Christian, I'm thankful to be able to call YOU my brothers and sisters.
I'm thankful for the virtues of my wife, the love of my daughter and son.

If you don't "know" God, or you don't acknowledge that He is - there's no need to answer. Thanks.

I was watching the PBS special last night and for the most part I thought it was fair. Except for one or to rather large misconceptions. Please no bashing of anyone, mormon or not.

ok, my friend at work said that god is omnipotent, but that doesnt make any sense. IF god was omnipotent he would have known what adam and eve were going to do and just send humans directly to earth. if god were omnipotent he would have known lucifer would betray him and therefore make it so lucifer had less power. If god was omnipotent there would be no antichrist ruling. if god was omnipotent there should be no heaven or hell only heaven. if god was omnipotent free will wouldnt override god
why do people say god is omnipotent, when that cant be true. If it is true than that means that god created hell for people to go to. if god was truly omnipotent, the creation in his image (humans) wouldnt be the most ignorant species on the planet

when tens of thousands of Jews were slaughtered during the same period of the Jewish Rebellion, and the Jewish Sicarii died at Masada. The Essenes, and other splinter sects, were completely wiped out.

The idea that only the early Christians were subjected to abuses and slaughter is an intentional distortion of history. The entire Jewish population, most of whom were not Christians, were engaged in open rebellion against the Romans and faced even more brutal reprisals than the Christians.

The Christians seem to be the only group to embrace the slaughter of the Jewish people as an opportunity. Doesn't that just reek of treachery?

Should we all become Sicarii and adopt the beliefs of that particular sect because they 'died for their beliefs'?

"Friend, in my 37 yrs. as a christian, there has never been an athiests, or anyone else that was able to debate me without them running off. Now since you think Atheists can use these 2 phrases, Because I am a Christian, I serve One God more than you do, & him will I only serve. You dismiss my God because you don't have the answer to the debate, Atheists is well known to start an argument, & then run & say, I did not do anything. Now you say if God wants to tell you something let him do it, don't worry, Not too very far off he will do just that, But it will be YOU that is begging God for the rocks & mountains to fall on you to hide you from the face of God's wrath. Now anymore debates or questions."

Pls................ I m an atheist and I dont want to hurt any body's feelings or sentiments. But I m asking this because recently a survey was done by the BBC in which they asked this question to the people. Surprisingly 65% of the people surveyed did agree that the world would indeed be a better place without the jews and they also mentioned that Israel was the most hated country in the world followed by Iran.
