No, a lot of my christian friends are hipocrits, except for Luke. Most of them are mean to the helpless people, and say if your not christian your going to hell. I thought jesus loved ALL HIS CHILDREN...

I know a few who strive to follow the actual teachings and not the religions doctrines. I think that is where some of these people are getting confused. They think the teachings are the doctrines all these sects uphold, but they aren't. Doctrines are the claims mankind has made about the teachings or supposed teachings - nowhere does Jesus tell people that they have to accept him into their heart to be saved or believe in his death and resurrection... or even believe he is God. None of these are Jesus' teachings... they are the religions doctrines.

you're an rather naughty lady! and you apart from mght wasted a large risk. particularly of installation a straw guy argument approximately some thing that purely isn't contained in the Bible, you're starting to be picked an occasion that's contained in the Bible. So why did no longer you? considering you will desire to no longer discover something remotely comparable to the obnoxious occasion you went on approximately? The Bible continually states the justifications for God's judgments on persons and communities of human beings. it continually has to do with wickedness and amassing evil. case in point, he gave the Amorites over 4 hundred years earlier appearing to wreck them. The 4 hundred years purely brought about the Amorites to dedicate further and added atrocities against human beings. yet look how God's endurance is used as an excuse to rage against God's eventual judgment! nicely, Mark, thank you for making me chuckle - at seven of the clock this Friday morning! stunning! Apple supplies the ultimate ripost on your question, via the way. no want for me to declare greater.

Those that try to walk the teachings of Jesus usually drift to Buddhism, Wiccan, or New Age.

Yes I do know Christians who follow Christs teachings. I do my best to follow his teaching myself. My Grandmother was one of the sweetest Christians I ever knew. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. We are not all Hippocrates.

Yes. We can't follow them perfectly because we are human and we are going to mess up. My dad sure did.. And so did my mother. My dad was married to a woman (2nd wife after mom dying) that was a total witch. He only left her one time and agonized over that in his bible. He went back because he said leaving was wrong and his place was beside her according to the bible. My mother died of cancer at age 52. She was in her bible to the day she died. Now that is faith! To not give up in the worst of pain and worst of times.

I do my best, and rely on God's help.
Meditate within your heart… and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. Psalm 4
