my friend says look around you and you will see gods work. My father rented out homes for 15 years and i went with him to some of the interviews. Ive met people who are mentally handicapped who couldnt eat for days at a time because he was so poor. i met a family where the grandmother was 25 years old. i met a family where a mother used to let men touch her daughter for crack. ive seen my fathers house been basically torn apart because of domestic violence. what about all of that stuff. roses and nature and the stars....thats god, but what about the other stuff i said? if that is really god, i want no part

It is really strange how things happen.

I have dealt with many situations where the problems were created by the individuals that are suffering from them.

In other cases, I have seen situations where the problems were caused by an authority figure in the household, i.e. parents or spouses.

In almost all of these cases, the person that is creating the harm does not know God, or does not understand the price Jesus paid for them.

You may not want to know God and that is your choice, and I know many a Jew that feels the same way. They look at their history and exclaim, 'if God allowed this to happen to us, I don't want to know God'.

This is not a battle over religion and science. Many try to use that as their reason for denying God, but it is not the case. Those that use that excuse, would not believe in God no matter what.

God is a human invention, as such he/she can only be as good or as bad as humanity will allow. So people need to believe in something outside themselves to feel secure in their little lives, other see more truth in themselves and understand that spirituality does not me religious. Some see god as having this great plan as if what they do and say has already been predetermined. Others understand that it is not god that creates your future, but your actions that make the future unfold in a good or a bad way. True in all situations there are some instances when you have no control, and must go along with whatever. But, for the most part you have control of your life, you always have the right to choose, and your choice will determine your path.

I am thinking that long ago way back then there were many story tellers, for it was the only real entertainment back then… No TV, no computer games, no radio, ect. You had scroll writers who for hours would tap out the words of their masters... just stories. All the religious stories back then are what they are… just written stories by men. The real problem is that we have three main religions (Christians, Jews, & Muslims) doing their best to bring these stories to life by saying it is God’s word. Like the end of times… All of these religious extremists are a danger to all Man-Kind.

If there is a God he has abandoned earth long ago… I personally rely on myself, and on friends, family & co-workers I am not sitting back waiting on God to help us with the mess our World is in. I am making my on Heaven right here right now on Earth… by living my life the best I can with lots of love for life, all the stars, all the wonders of Nature… that’s the real beauty of our earth, no matter how we it all got created.

When will this attitude stop, blaming God is the easiest thing in the world to do, yet getting up of our butts and making an effort to love and respect our fellow human beings is somehow too much trouble.
God created us in love and commanded us to love one another but it is still not happening on a large enough scale, if a Mother tells her son to look after his little brother and he beats him,is it the fault of the Mother? no it is the inherent sinful nature of the son to inflict pain and suffering.

I fail to see what all of this has to do with God. All you mentionned was men's wickedness which God wants no part with like you said. That's why judgment will come someday.

God wants people that have faith in him and that do good on their own. He is not forcing anyone to do good. He permits evil but he also said that sin had consequences. The consequence of sin is eternal death. God will do justice.

"It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them."

Many/some of the problems are due to our free will. The mother freely chose to exchange crack for sex with her daughter. God can step in and change things. He doesn't always.
The government closed down mental hospitals; they freely chose to.

Hello, lots of good questions, i respect it when people ask the deep stuff.

Wow, you have been through a lot in life, and seen horrible things i have never seen.

would you like to know some of the key things that made me search for God?...

My Dad died when i was 12, and when i was 20 i was scuba diving under 15 meters of ocean, and lost my mask, started inhailing water and freaking out, i thought i was going to die, so i called out Really loud in my head and heart JESUS HELP, and then i felt like he was right infront of my face calming me, i can not fully explain it, but i KNOW its true.

God IS sad at many of the horrible things you have seen, but its the life man lives in his greed, anger and fallen state.

we are fallen people, and hurting people hurt people.

God is grieved at mans hurts, but all he longs for is that we come to him just as we are into his open arms, then he will reveal to us his love, he has already made the first move, by giving us Jesus, now we only need to search for him, and he;ll start running to you, He knows EVERYTHING you have been through, and He Loves you So Much, after all He Made you, your a one-of a kind, and precious to him.

those billions of stars are somewhat Suns, with many having planets like ours. every person who believes that we are on my own interior the galaxies, ought to coach to settle for a rude awakening, even as far as our God theory is in touch. bear in mind that UFOs proceed to take place, yet God in no way does.

Pay no attention to the patronizing Christians, my friend, who will tell you that this "God" is with you, for you have support from your fellow men and women.

Good luck.

Look at the stars and you will see stars... if it's night-time and there are no clouds.
