Satan is powerless to do anything except whisper his ideas into the hearts of mankind.

Mankind has TOTAL FREEDOM of choice to either obey the commands of God or the whispers of Satan.

To say he is a god of the earth is a deception.

His has as much power as you think he has.

People are saying that the problem is in people's interpretation of the Bible, not the translators. But I still ask if the translators are not putting their own interpretation and their own point of view when translating the Bible. Translators are human beings that can make mistakes, right? How can I know which translator is right? Were the translators also inspired by God? So why so many different translations and interpretation?

We all know the verse that says this:

27 "First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs."

When correctly interpreted by us, we know that salvation was for the Jew first....and then to the Gentile (us). The woman had faith enough to ask for even just a few crumbs so to speak.

We know the message of scripture is perfect and clear but, do you think that this Syro-Phonecian woman felt a little slighted by Jesus' remark to her...by referring to Gentiles as dogs?

Perhaps your unwillingness to accept reality, your stedfast denial of simple truths, is a process of your own ill-thinking and that it might be masking a more serious condition... Perhaps you ought to seek professional help... Have you considered this possibility?

I say mostly, because SOME christians think maybe God started Evolution to create his animals. If that was true why did he not start all over after the flood? Also, if there was no death in the garden of Eden then how could evolution exist? My point is this. Last time I checked school books were like 20 years behind most modern teachings. Schools just don't have funding. So kids are learning theorys about evolution that have been proven FAULSE in the last 20 years. Now these kids trust their teacher because he or she is an adult and most teachers should be trusted. So these kids are having there FAITH shaken by untrue teachings with out ever seeing the other side of creation idea. That GOD made us. The bible never changes, science does...all the time. So why not allow the bible to be taught in school?

Regarding Christianity - please note, I am not trying to bash anyone here, I'm just looking for an answer to a question I have.

OK, it seems to me that the reason God sent Jesus to the world was so that people could know God by knowing His son, who walked the Earth just like they did. My question is, are the people who were born after Christ's death pretty much SOL in that respect? They can never know Christ the way others before them did - was the concept of one spirit you can't see and one man you can just replaced by two spirits you can't? It seems like it just took an intractable philosophical question and replaced it with one that is twice as intractable. What do you think?

According to evolution, all living things evolved from organic material and I assume, some source of energy. With all the complex processes involved in just living/existing, much less everything involved in any decision, couldn't the energy involved become part of the whole organism and everything involved? Especially humans since the mind is very complex?

The true concept of the Monotheistic God is so clear and heartfilling that it promotes the one on one relationship between creator and creation without the intercession of any other being.

How many people will get into heaven?
I am told if you do not turn from your sin, you will not go to heaven...so:

obese people, who die never turned from their sin and will go to hell...the majority of the U.S. is obese...so, the majority will go to hell, because gluttony is a sin, and your body is a temple of God.

Divorced/remarried people are committing adultery according to the Bible...(Luke, 1 Corinthians 6:9) If they are not celibate in their second marriage...they are going to hell, for they never turned from their sin...The divorce rate is over 50%...even among pastors..

People who steal by not repaying credit card debt, or filing bankruptcy are not repaying their, loan, so are breaking the 10 commandments by stealing...Again, a large percentage of the population..if they do not pay it back, they will go to hell for not turning from their sin.

And of course, you guys say gay people are going to hell...10% of the population...

So, who is left

No priesthood in Islam

No organized religion in the sense of one "body" collecting money from people all over the world.

No religious hierarchy.

No intercessor that mankind needs to go through to get to God.

Everyone must have an Individual relationship with God and those who work to fulfill his commands automatically congregate together with one purpose and heart to fulfill a certain need.

In my last question about secret handshakes and moral codes I found out a thing or too. Some of you seem pretty normal, i.e. could understand the humor but then you ignored the real question and dodged it just as you accuse christians of doing about science questions.

Some of you take yourselves far to serious and are at least as humorless as you accuse christians of being.

However only one was honest and admitted that even though there was not one set code, you live by rules.

Those rules by the way are man made societly rules normally taken from religion, therefore they are a creation of men and they don't really exist according to an athiest's reasoning. Wouldn't rape, murder and theft simply be extension of natural law that you all claim to believe? survival of the fittest, the strongest fastest most cunning of the species survives? Natural law says we are just evolved apes after all. Really ya'll what keeps chaos from reigning

Isn't it ironic that a man who never met Jesus was his #1 fan and was responsible for writing so much of the New Testament?

He popularized Christianity, codified it, politicized it, defined it. With so much of the early church being formed by Paul, is it unfair to say that Chrisitianity is as much about Paul's take on life as it is about the philosophy of Jesus?
