Satan is powerless to do anything except whisper his ideas into the hearts of mankind.
Mankind has TOTAL FREEDOM of choice to either obey the commands of God or the whispers of Satan.
To say he is a god of the earth is a deception.

Actually, Satan has Much More power than You think he has! Even Christ acknowledged that!
Satan offered Christ Jesus "all the kingdoms of the world." This would not have served as a real temptation unless Satan actually was the ruler of those kingdoms. Plus, note that Jesus didn't deny that all the worldly governments were Satan's, which he certainly would have done if Satan did not. The Bible, in fact, calls Satan "the god of this system of things." (2 Corinthians 4:4)

When Adam and eve sinned in the garden, they gave the rights of this earth and the dominion to Satan.
Their price for their sin was paid for at Calvary by Jesus so YES, Christians are free from the power, pain and penalty of sin.
However, creation is NOT free from the power of sin, or from the dominion of Satan.As long as there is enmity between the seed of the serpent and Man, the lion and the lamb will not be at peace with each other.
Make no mistake - we dwell in the stronghold of the enemy.

The Bible clearly states that Satan is the god of the current earth (or system of things)(2 Corinthians 4:4). That's why we are waiting for a new earth (2 Peter 3:13), and how Satan was able to tempt Jesus with all the earth's kingdoms(Luke 4:5-7).
It makes a lot of sense, and explains why there are so many troubles in the world. Adam and Eve followed Satan in choosing for themselves what was good and bad, instead of listening to God (Genesis 3:1-7). God in his wisdom let them (and humanity) try if they wanted to, otherwise the issue would still be remaining. However, it is now obvious that we need God to decide good and bad for us.

Do you not deny that this system of things is influenced heavily by Satan? If God was the ruler of THIS system of things, he would be very unjust, wouldn't he? There will come to be a new system of things to where God is the complete ruler and that is when Satan will be abyssed.

Jesus said he was the prince of the earth and would have rule here until his father came to take back what is rightfully his. And he is the quintessential master of deception. He has no more power over you than you give him...that is the truth for other people as well. No one can manipulate you or your feelings unless you allow it.
And I have heard so many outright right lies and fabrications here that I cannot begin to know which would be the worst I had ever heard. I choose to filter out what I do not choose to believe and leave everyone else to decipher things for themselves as well.

when the apostle Paul identified him as "the god of this world" it was a reinforcement of the warning Yhshua/Jesus gave us to be "no part of the world"
YHWH/Jehovah allowed mankind and satan a time to prove sovereignty and the right to rule.
YHWH is allowing mankind all the time possible to realize that satan's way is not the right way.
when mankind chose satan's way in Eden, they chose to rule themselves, which has become politics, instead of YHWH's perfect Kingdom rule that they had in Eden.
YHWH will restore His original purpose for mankind (eternal life in paradise) but for now we have satan's way of self-rule/politics.
Satan has all political factions warring against eachother.
Look around at this world and see what mankind has wrought by following satans way! Hatred and divisions of all kinds; governments, races, creeds, political parties
all fighting with and hating eachother
yes, this world is clearly satans way
The question is plain;
Can mankind solve his own problems? Should we continue to support politics, governments and war?
or
Should we choose the Way of YHWH? Stop being a part of this world, stop supporting political solutions, trying to fix it ourselves and follow a course of and peace as taught and exemplified by Yhshua?

well, if you believed that an evil invisible entity ruled the Earth you might consider the planet itself to be evil therefore making it okay for you to exploit the Earth, trashing the delicate environment. when you imagine you're too good and holy to live on and love the planet that sustains you and your progeny, imagine that someday you'll be lifted bodily into heaven, what would be the incentive to protect and conserve the Earth's resources, especially since the Earth's resources are owned and ruled by Satan, the evil one? i mean ... if your god intends to destroy the Earth anyway why bother caring about the Earth's Eco systems? Satan is as good an excuse as any to continue using the Earth as a feces filled disposable diaper you intend to shed as you ascend into heaven to claim your jewel encrusted crown and golden throne of righteousness.
