How many people will get into heaven?
I am told if you do not turn from your sin, you will not go to heaven...so:

obese people, who die never turned from their sin and will go to hell...the majority of the U.S. is obese...so, the majority will go to hell, because gluttony is a sin, and your body is a temple of God.

Divorced/remarried people are committing adultery according to the Bible...(Luke, 1 Corinthians 6:9) If they are not celibate in their second marriage...they are going to hell, for they never turned from their sin...The divorce rate is over 50%...even among pastors..

People who steal by not repaying credit card debt, or filing bankruptcy are not repaying their, loan, so are breaking the 10 commandments by stealing...Again, a large percentage of the population..if they do not pay it back, they will go to hell for not turning from their sin.

And of course, you guys say gay people are going to hell...10% of the population...

So, who is left

oops...left out those who are addicted to drugs like caffeine...coffee, pepsi...if these things have any control over your life...that is a form of idolatry...

People aren't denied heaven because they didn't repay their credit card debt, remarried or ate an entire box of donuts. People are denied heaven if they reject Christ who paid for their sins.

Currently 1-2.5% are allowed into Heaven this is based on two testimonies i have heard. One from Howard Pittmans life after death experience and the other from a prophet that lives in Israel. Is there scripture that might confirm this low percent to be accurate. Yes.
Matthew 7:13-14 (King James Version)
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

An angel explained to Mr.Pittman that 2,000 had died the same time he did. Only 50 were allowed into Heaven the other 1,950 from what i understand are waiting for the Judgement Day.

So who is left?
Those who make their calling sure and have their name in the Book of Life. Having worked our their salvation with fear and trembling.

The Bible does not teach that heaven is the reward for everyone who is 'good'.
The earth was created to be inhabited by man and there's where man belongs.
Heaven is for the spirit creatures such as the angels,Jesus,Jehovah and those mentioned in Rev.14:1-4 who number 144,000.These ones are taken from the earth to rule as kings and priests with Christ OVER the earth.
The rest of obedient mankind will have the opportunity to reside on the earth.
(Ps.37:9-11,29;Pr.2:21;Dan2:44)
The concept of a fiery place of torment known as "hell" is not a Bible teaching. The Bible teaches that when we die we go back to the ground and await a resurrection, back onto the earth.

well imagine that were true...we all be died or hell or heaven...but God loves all of us..and if you read your bible there's only a small number of people who are going to heaven 144.000 and there's only like an estimate of 9.000 people left on earth and there usually being serving God for along time...therefore you and me stay here on earth in Paradise not these system but the new world OK here in earth but you need to study your bible first to become one of the many who will live an eternity in peace and harmony serving God and His Son...

You didn't take into account that almost (pretty much all) every religion says that if you don't belong to their religion, you go to hell. We can safely assume that each person on earth is either a member of only ONE religion or they don't have a religion. Then, we follow up on this with logic. Figure it out.

I believe most people do go to hell when they die but that they can get out whenever they are ready to turn to God. They can choose to turn to God just as they chose to go to hell. I believe from reading certain Bible verses, that eventually God will save everyone. Mark 3:28 says "all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men..." The link below gives the other Bible verses that support my position.

Are you kidding? Christians don't care what they bible says. They rationalize it to fit their modern life. If something doesn't fit, then ofcourse we shouldn't take the bible literally .

The answer is if there was a heaven very few people would be going. A few of the Amish and similiar.

That is why we are still here... He is giving us more time to forgive of our sins and to accept Jesus as our savor... HE does not want us to go to hell .. he is giving us as much time as he can .. And that time will run out! He wants all to go to heaven... We are not perfect..including myself..but we all have the chance to be forgiven for our sins and accept Jesus as our savior.

Heavenly Father loves you and wants you to return to live with Him when you die. This is only possible through the Savior, Jesus Christ (John 14:6).
As the Son of God, Jesus Christ paid for your sins and overcame death. This is called the Atonement. Because of Christ’s Atonement, you can be forgiven of your sins and become clean and worthy to return to live with God. If you want to return to Heavenly Father, Jesus taught that you must:

Have faith in Him (Mark 11:22–24).
Repent of your sins (Acts 2:38).
Receive baptism (John 3:3–6), the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and the other ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Keep His commandments (John 14:15).
