For example, consider this concept from the Divine Principle:

Freedom + Responsibility = Results

In this equation responsibility is shared between God and His children. This is best expressed as a fraction or ratio. God always gives 100%, the actual results we get in any situation depend on our response(ability). For example:

. . . . . . . . . . . Our responsibility = 10
Freedom + --------------------------- ------ = Our Results (fruit)
. . . . . . . . . . God's responsibility = 100

If we make a 10% investment in fulfilling our responsibility, then we get a 10% result. If we invest 50% we get a 50% result. If we invest 100% we get 100% result.

Any other spiritual math nerds out there?

I thought *Satan* was the god of earth..... ?

And Why do most Bibles say God created heaven and earth, before he created heaven and earth? Is that where the error propagates from? Shouldn't Creationism be an alternative to physical theory of the universe rather than and alternative to biological theory of evolution?

No wonder the atheists in here are frustrated.... this creationism tack really is wholly indefensible IMO... And intelligent design by some midway divine intervention... come on.. is that the best these thousands of minds can come up with? It doesn't even try to postulate God, nothing but ludicrous apologetics if you ask me, which you didn't, but I'll say so anyhow.......

excuse me for ranting... The first few lines are my actual questions, I would like to know if there are any creationists with a tangible theory out there.. or if it really is this hokey?

I think we all have our doubts about evolution, but some have accepted it on faith and refuse to be swayed in any other direction, even though science is constantly changing it's theory. Mr. Adnan Oktar is no dummy to Evolution. He has written various books on the fallacy of the theory of evolution. His dedicated intellectual effort against Darwinism and materialism has grown out to be a worldwide phenomenon.

Check out an awsome site he built to help us better see the OTHER side of the evolution theory....

Islam does not believe that mankind is born inheritantly evil and with a burden of some original sin.

In fact Islam says every child is born totally sinless and pure and if they were to die at any early age they would go to paradise without any accountability.

In Islam there is no concept of punishing a child for the sins of the father and there is no concept of lawful procreation(sex) being a dirty or sinful act.

Islam does not believe we are predisposed to commit sin and being imperfect creations, we are not predisoposed to absolute goodness either. On the contrary Islam says we have choice to obey or disobey God. The choice is ours either way equally. To predispose us to lean to one side would not be true freedom of choice or free will.

Islam believes that all disobedience is bad – Pride, lying, cheating etc. but mankind is not guilty until proven innocent. In Islam all are innocent until proven guilty. We are not born guilty of crimes but when we do commit crimes then there is forgiveness through repentance.

The way to atone for the sins is through sincere repentance to God directly without any priest or intercessor. God is the one who loves to forgive the sins of those who cry in repentance…..with broken hearts. This shows our humility and recognition of the Sovereignty of the Lord.

God is the one who gives strength to mankind to obey his laws and come closer to him. The only thing we need is the sincere heart felt desire and intention.

Accountability is started at the age of puberty – when children start to distinguish between right and wrong and can make choices.

Islam says that God created us and blew his spriit into our souls. If no evil were to tempt a man then he would perfectly recognize who the Lord is and submit in total obedience just as we will the second after we pass away.

Islam is therefore the effort to protect the heart and cultivate the goodness which is in every heart.

The heart is protected from outside corruption by obeying the Laws of God in every sphere of life - 24 hours a day (hadith and sunnah) and by bringing the correct understanding of the oneness of God and perfect Monotheism (as detailed in the Quran).

so, why don't we hear more pastors speaking out on this subject?

Why don't Christians protest with signs at the offices of divorce lawyers and divorce courts?

The book of Luke tells us that anyone who divorces and remarries another is committing adultery, and 1 Corinthians 6:9 says that adulterers, along with homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God. I am told that homosexuals have to be celibate in order to turn from their ways and go to heaven...so I guess divorced remarried people have to be celibate too...in order to go to heaven?

Why aren't Christians more upset about divorce? Are they quiet on the subject because they don't want to alienate over 50% of the population? Newsweek reports that 50% of pastors are divorced...so over half of the clergy will not be going to heaven too. Geesh...where is the public outcry? Pastors continually rail against gays...but are quiet on divorce...hypocrisy?

In all fairness we have a record of Jesus Christ that we can accurately date back to one hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ. That means the people who testify of him are REAL people. So if Jesus was a real person and his miracles were real, that proves that God could exist. By this argument, man could have a creator. SO in all fairness shouldn't the bible be taught along with evolution in school?

Lets hear your theory.

Be a jerk about it and your question will be removed. I hate disrespect!

And I really don't mean faith of the type where something can be observed or directly experienced by anyone to be a fact, like faith that when you turn a tap on (in most cases) water will flow, or that day follows night.

The "New Testament": Pagan revenge

Between G-d's own miracles and the Jewish teaching of His Word, the pagan priesthoods of Egypt, Greece, and Rome were steadily losing their power over the gentile populations. They decided to fight back by creating a new religion, one that would claim to be the fulfillment of the Hebrew "Old Testament," yet would bring back the pagan lies in a new disguise.

Thus the "New Testament" was written, in Greek rather than Hebrew, and attached to the original Hebrew scriptures to try to change their meaning back toward paganism.

The "New Testament" tried to change G-d from One, as in the Hebrew scriptures, into a "trinity" as in Egyptian cults or the eastern religions of Hinduism and Buddhism. It described Jesus as G-d in a human body, like the pagans always described Pharoah and other wicked kings. It declared G-d's Law to be a "curse" that no one can truly obey, announced that there must be a "mediator" between G-d and man, and pretended that salvation could now be achieved outside the Law.

To blind the gentile nations, the "New Testament" also warned people not to learn from the Jews, declaring that Israel no longer possessed the true, complete Word of G-d.

In the Bible, the book of Daniel warned of an evil power--a false religion--that would believe in the true "G-d of fortresses... plus a god its fathers did not know." This religion would "speak bizarre words about the Most High, wear out the holy ones (the Jews), and plan to change the festivals and the religious Law."7 The Christian Church has indeed replaced Passover with Easter (the pagan holiday of Astarte and Ishtar) and Hanukah with Christmas (the pagan winter holiday).

Since then, Christian paganism has expanded to include Christmas trees, Easter eggs, and so forth.

Does anyone know, back in Biblical times, what type of paper was typically used for writing on by religious scholars? How was that "paper" typically preserved? With those methods, how many years could that "paper" typically last before age would destroy the "paper"?

(I use quotes because the paper was not paper by our modern standards).

The only religion in the sight of God is Islam.” (Quran 3:19)

In another verse of the Holy Quran, God states:

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter, he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (their selves in the Hellfire).” (Quran 3:85)

now why many people in the world dosn't accept islam as the most complete religion. they are in damaging.

what is your opinion?

DUDE, i am muslim and we have been coming to america or canada way Way b4 9/11 just tryng to live a decent life like everyone. We believe in Jesus christ and try to implement his teachings too. The only problem is that in the era of technology we failed miserable against the west, so now to make ends meet we rely on the west because our forefatehrs could not place any good strategy for our future. We are humans who share a human loss, the only problem is like ur media we have mosques where some people just want to diss USA and Isreal since they have nothing better to do. I would love to beat them up but unlike popular belief that we would love to kill, we dont Actually know what to do! The only thing we know is,
now God/Allah is showing all of us Our real face in Iraq , SUNNI VS SHAIS and he is showing a real face of corruption as in Democrats and Republicans. This is what happens when we dont implement tolerance and justice. We would live in a more confused world!

I have been reading up on buddaism and i find that the rules the governing their life style and those of christanity are basically the same. Do right by others, dont kill, refrain from excess, to name a few. My question is..."Wouldnt God be glad if more of us were like buddhist in our thinking and actions?" To understand this question and not be offended you have to understand something of the buddhist philosophy. They try to act a lot like how true christians are supposed act. what do you think?

In the bible, there are many instructions from various people telling us to "fear" God and I came across a passage in 1 John:16-18 about "no fear in love" and "perfect love drives out fear". Can someone expect to me what "fear" in the context of "Fear God" and also why did 1 John mention something different?
