Yep, but I'm Pagan anyway. I can be happy in a rational universe, but being irrational occasionally keeps me sane.
Though, it could be the mead...

This is a unique question with a simple answer, all question the WORD before they truly accept it then it is never a question again. The simple truths you speak of must be statements regarding Christianity and placing a negative light on the subject. Have you ever read the many history books that record the same information as the True BIBLE? Josephus even accounted for the truth, look into Islam and you will still hear about JESUS, Judaism has scores of historical data on Christ; and yet I am supposed to throw all of the information that is fact (not to mention the miracles I have seen with my own eyes) out the window because some people say "Perhaps your unwillingness to accept reality, your steadfast denial of simple truths (as a disclaimer I must say spell check changed the spelling of a few words in this sentence)" and cannot disprove one single item regarding the life and death of JESUS. you can find even more simple truths if you read the letters sent from Pilate to Herod and from Pilate to Rome, but then again some people say none of those things happened.

I have considered it and I am not the victim of delusion. I submit that it is you that are deluded by the philosophies of men, tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, heaping unto yourself teachers with itching ears, meaning that you listen to what you want to listen to instead of the truth, which can be harsh, necessitating changes in your life.
We come from eternal beginnings and will have an eternal subsequent existence as well. What we do and say will have eternal ramifications. I have tried God's word in my life and have felt the peace and joy of the truth of that message. I know what I have felt and experienced. I know that God lives, that the scriptures are true and are for our guidance and direction. I know that each and every one of us can receive direct revelation in answer to our prayers as I have done.
I suggest that you humble yourself and try it.

As a Pagan believer, I still deal with reality every day. I go to work, take care of my family, pay my bills. In the beginning of all of this, yes, I did consider it a possibility.... after a few Atheists pulled the same damn thing some Christians did... just keep repeating "you're mentally ill" as the Christians repeat "you're going to hell" and maybe someone will believe this ****. As for me... I see it for what it is... the same friggin tactic the Christians use to try to get someone to believe like them. A shame you have to resort to this type of thing... assuming mental illness because someone doesn't believe like you.

Have you ever seriously considered that God reveals himself only to those who believe and honestly look for him?
You need faith to see God. Talking to an atheist about God is like talking to a blind man about the sun or talking to a disabled person about skiing.

I grew up not believing in God, but as I lived my life I started to see the truth in it all; no delusions attached.

Yes....in times of weakness I do. But then...I remember how God impacted my life. How He changed me and I recall my encounters with Him. Nothing, let me say again....NOTHING can take that away. I am weak, but He is strong.
So, yes, I've considered your listed possibilities....and have rejected them as unfounded.

The fact that God is the sole author of truth makes your comments simply untrue.

Aren't you clever today? Well, we shall see.
It ain't over til the fat lady sings.
The beauty of Christianity is that you get to sail your own ship, and if you sail yours to hell then you have only you to blame for it.
Have a nice trip.
