Earlyer I posted a question about a dream i had, that some how resembled the tragedy. My dream did happen, I cannot change that. I just don't want people to get the wrong message.
-You are all in my Prayers.
-Love heals all.

I've heard the argument that the Bible was translated by drunk monks. What do you think of this argument? I've always said it doesn't matter if they were high on crack and thinking they were writing letters to penthouse God would not have allowed them to write anything other than truth...your opinions?

If you were told that you were going to live in agony every day for the rest of your life, OR that a brain injury would keep you from ever expriencing pleasure again - what would motivate you to keep living?

So the basic concept of the original sin is unjust, and the idea of the divine sacrifice is absurd, But That's only because The bible has been editted by man, Many doctrines were Added later.

The Concept of Islam is a simple one, anyone can grasp it (Unlike the trinity), So my question is: Why reject Theism because of a single religion?

And please state a doctrine or Teaching in Islam that you think contradicts logic or rationality, so that we may work together on it.

Thank you.

God made the rules that His own creations (man) broke. He then sent Himself (since He and Jesus are one) on a suicide mission as a sacrifice to who? Is there a higher God than God that He had to appease?
I'm tired of the regular John 3:16 garbage that brainwashed fanatics, with tunnel vision, keep pushing. I need something that makes sense.

I know it's not the same as blowing off a summons to appear in county court and then having a bench warrant issued against me, but what if in the day of judgement I challenged God's jurisdiction by claiming that I was given no choice as to whether or not I wanted life in the world to begin with. And please- no arguments that I've already tasted life and indulged in its excesses--- that's like punching me in the mouth and then accusing me of having a bloody lip.

It scares the crap out of me.

Could this be the future? It soo reminds me of how Hitler brainwashed his country. They all use the same exact socail tactics. Its unbelievable.

Truley its scary because these people are centralized, unlike non-religious people, and pose a huge threat to the nation. Its hard to get athiests to centralize to stop things like this happening because our beliefes dont require a higher-up telling us what to do. These people truly are going to **** things up politically. This is a radical movement i can see easily drifting into a more P.C. version of Hitlers movements. (if you understand what i mean, then you understand how deep and true that is)

Is it arguable that taking religion too seriously and being overly devout could cause social and mental health problems, and therefore would only result in the opposite thing that the deeply religious person is trying to achieve?

I am not talking only about the sins of others- but our own personal sin. This week God has reminded me that revival begins with me. Even though we are to confront sin and pray that people repent and turn back to God- God is looking for us to look deep within our hearts to see if there is any offensive way within us. Are we more interested in pruning others instead of allowing God to prune us?
