I know it's not the same as blowing off a summons to appear in county court and then having a bench warrant issued against me, but what if in the day of judgement I challenged God's jurisdiction by claiming that I was given no choice as to whether or not I wanted life in the world to begin with. And please- no arguments that I've already tasted life and indulged in its excesses--- that's like punching me in the mouth and then accusing me of having a bloody lip.

NH Baritone- Much of life is speculation including other people's point of view. It's one of many methods to discovery. However, if someone of your persuasion can't get their mind around this simple fact, you are more than welcome to delete your answer.

People- before some of you light the torches, please read my profile. I mean no disrespect to God- or you. It's just a question.

Try it and see. I don't think you are accurately visualizing the power of God, but I guess it's worth a try. What's the worst that can happen? We get another life?

I've thought of it myself. I finally decided there was no choice and we are in fact on a sort of a work release from Hell.

NO! as the monotheists would tell you. You are stuck here, and death is not at all an option. Your masters have vested into you and you shall perform and bring credit of your existence back upon to the system which spawned you.
You shall cower in fear before knowing that only what lies for you is either the burning torment of eternal hell or a blissful heaven for desirable performance.
Every move, yet, even every thought that ever come from inside your mind regardless of what choices you make and actions you take is taken into account, calculated and measured for when your day of judgement comes to pass. In this regard, I can also scare you into helping me by attempting to brainwash yourself even further into the deepest corners of your mind where only you can truly dwell.
Now go in fear for posting such blasphemy and pray to God you never dare even think such incredulity again. Make sure you are not wearing condoms and breed excessively as possible into my column. For we all know God shall provide.

Considering my beleifs say that those who don't go to heaven are destroyed, rather than eternally punished in hell..You'd pretty much be answering your own question. If you didn't want life to begin with, you wouldn't mind losing it. O.o

This is just as silly as accepting that there is a last judgment. We die. Our life ends. Conciousness goes on with other people, but ours ceases. This kind of speculation is just a waste of time.

Fine by me, as long as you have heard of your Creator.......enough said for me. Ask Him when your time is up, but I'm sure, just like His book says, what He does is how He has always done it. Paraphrased for you, since you like things on your own terms......Good luck.
