Tonc_: what is this "troll" business? Anyway, I'm merely illustrating a point that's overlooked in this place.

All esoteric teaching is mysticism. All religions are one when you get past the drapery. If you have studied the Hologram you will also find mysticism. P.D. Ouspensky is the best to understand in mysticism by way of mathematics.

Hi,

Are you looking for texts on just Christian mysticism? If so books by Meister Eckehart and Christian Rosencroix (sp?) are good medival and renaissance source texts. If you are looking for something older, try the gnostic Gospel of Filip - it is on the net. If you need a good book to explain mysticism, try looking for books by Annie Besant - there is at least one on Esoteric Christianity.

For other traditions... Maybe what you need are some of the very detailled Hindu/Buddhist versions, which describes in great detail but from a non-material basis, how the universe and this world came to be? I don't have titles, but I know they are out there. If you want a modern onein this vein, try looking for "A Treatise on Cosmic Fire" by Alice B. Bailey. It should be on the net too.

Good luck!

Hi There,

Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science is bound to be very helpful for you - she used the power of her mind to see only God / only oneness, which resulted in miraculous healings.

If you can use a film then What the Bleep do we Know? Is fantastic.

If you are deeply into mysticism, A Course In Miracles is brilliant - it is a self-study course in removing the obstacles to the awareness of Loves' Presence (awareness of Self / Oneness) using Christian terminology.

All the best with your homework,

With blessings,

Kirsten

Are you a troll? Oh what the heck, trolls can read too. OK, starting with the hardest: St. John of the Cross, start with the Assent of Mt. Carmel and then The Dark Night of the Soul. That should keep you out of trouble for awhile.
