I mean really...choosing a dumb figure from a dumb religion to be a god? Like believing in the Greek mythologies, and choosing Zeus's former shoe-shine boy.

Ok...Satanists don't worship Satan...why use his name then? Pretty Stupid. Why not "The Independant Hedonists"? It is stupid to associate with Christianity, and is a sign of weakness, Period.

My opinion is this: Guys like Anton LaVey started it because they were not strong enough to counter Christianity in their own hearts (brainwashed). It was easier for dumb white Americans to cling to something as stupid as 'Satan' for a psychological religious counter. But this still limits you to what you associate with. Fact is they ARE worshipping a dumb angel from Judaism/Christianity, however so indirectly. You use his name, which you ripped from Jews and Christians. Duh! These are the same morons that wear a pentagram and know zero about it's true roots (ancient elements used in spirituality).
Final Verdict: 2 1/2 stars for stupidity...it's not even a "quality" form of stupidity (i.e. totally un-original).

Fireball you're an fool.^ there is not something interior the question even suggestion that Christians worship the devil. "opposite Christians" refers to those who worship the alternative ingredient of the Christian Gods. God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost as against Lucifer/devil/devil/in spite of he gets suggested as. And no i'm not a satanist. i'm an athiest. A vast distinction many Christians i've got met do not make.

Well, at least they're not Christians. Christianity is the ultimate evil. Satanists don't judge other faiths, pray for the world to end, try to conquer the globe through conversion, deny the pleasures of the flesh, or demand obediance to Authority. At least, none of the ones I met are like that.

I haven't met any Satanists that worship Satan. Maybe you need to read up on Satanism, and Christianity for that matter.
