for those who put god before everything... why do you fear what nobody has ever really seen? i know nobody has ever seen hell. i'm sure there are plenty of people who claim to have been through personal hells in their lives, but is it really the same thing as spending an eternity being burned? also, why do you place a being that nobody has really ever seen before your family and your friends? i just don't understand this. is there any reason why a god would want this of anyone, especially a loving god?

no offense to the christians here, but i know exactly what you're saying. i've been where you are and i know what it's like to want to believe in something so much that you actually start believing in it. but the fact of the matter is that it simply isn't real. there is no need to fear or put some imaginary being before those things we can actually see.

grace, i know i have a heart. it would defy medical logic for me not to have one. doctor have performed these thing called dissections on the human body. they know very well what a person needs to survive. invisible men in the sky are not one of them...

tuberoot, yes i am reading the bible. still doesn't make any sense. i was a christian for 25 years of my life. and went along with saying the exact same things the majority of christians are telling me on this site day in and day out.

"There is not one Christian here who would honestly say that coming to God made their family lives worse." i'm sure there's an emphasis on the word christian in that sentence. but how about people who denounced christianity when it fails? i know several people who have honestly prayed to god to make their family lives better with no success.

Seriously....why? Why do you atheists always talk about fear. Are you guys consumed by it? A hundred times a Christian will tell you, we worship God out of gratitude and love, yet you are always hopping on fear. You are the one in danger of hell fire, not me. That's why you think about it and we don't.

As far as putting God before your family - that proves you don't know any Christians. There is not one Christian here who would honestly say that coming to God made their family lives worse. What you suggests borders on stupidity. You become a Christian and a better person as a result, and that's bad for your family? You are confused here and yours is another weak attempt to make God look bad. Is that all you atheists guy are going to do all night? Where is all this logic and brain power you always brag about? At least put up a half-way decent philosophical argument.

Have you ever seen your own heart but yet you hear and feel it everyday and when you put this loving God before everyone one else it is like you are putting his love for you on so you can love others because he loves you first. You know not all things are seen first they are images dreams and such so just know that God is real and sometimes you just have to feel it in your heart and mind before you can see it.

I know you don't understand it. It wasn't meant for you. Have you read the Bible? Or at least a part of it? You don't believe it, right? So that's not our problem. The answer to your question is; because we believe what the Bible says about God. It's really that simple.

Just because I have not seen God face to face(that will come when God calls me home to heaven) I can feel His presence, His love and His arms about me. God is first in my life, and family comes after. God has blessed me with many things in my life and has also blessed me with many miracles. May you find the love that God has for you. God Bless

I do not fear. I know. I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me of the truth and reality of God and the gospel of Christ. I cannot explain it, but I know that everyone can receive the same witness if they seek it. I encourage you to study th elife of Christ and to pray and you will receive an answer to the question you just asked.

Nobody has ever seen? No miracles have ever been recorded? No King James bible was ever published? No prayer has ever been answered? No light has ever shown? No forgiveness has ever been given? No healing has ever been received? No word was ever spoken? No creation was ever created? No God? No, God is real! Praise be to his name.

God is greatest counselor and friend. As our wife can be a counselor but is of limited knowledge and wisdom. God is all knowing and righteous in all ways ( morality ). He is to be our first source for guidance. I have heard him and have FACT in my life. Jesus did not Love himself he Loved us and proved it on the cross.

We were placed on the Earth for one purpose only, to love and have a relationship with God. My husband and children are a gift from Him.
