If there are some men and women who are "athiest," does it not stand to reason that there should be some who are "athier," or even just "athy?"

Shouldn't we begin with the adjectival form "athy," then move onto the comparative "athier," or "more athy," before we get to the superlative "athiest," or "most athy?"

An atheist is the opposite of a theist. Theos is Greek for “god.” Make sure the “TH” is followed immediately by an “E.”
