Christians and Muslims each have one book to understand their God. Yet, I see so many different explanations of that one book, that it's almost funny, if it weren't so weird. It's just one book, which has been analyzed for over 2,000 years now. But it's still not clear to many what hell is, if the trinity is true, etc, etc.
Atheists (and also Pagans, by the way) didn't have that one book to guide their lives and religious visions and opinions. Yet, when reading their answers in this section, they seem like a much more uniform group than Christianity or Islam. And not only when it comes to the subject of religion, but also when it comes to many basic visions on life. How's that possible?
