Instead of them saying to us, "you prayed in Jesus's name and that is offensive to us, so stop it" We could overturn the tables on them like Jesus did on the pharisees and say, "well, you didnt pray, and we find that to be offensive to us" ...yeah, each time we see someone not give thanks or mention Jesus at a commencemnt speech we could say, " hey, you offended us because you didnt mention Jesus' name" and we could go cry to uncle sam lile the athiest have done, until they enanct our beliefs on them. Would it work?

If Love is the greatest of the comnandments, and you have loved with all your heart and you have no faith in God... How do you think this person would be judged in the end?

Do you not think that there is middle ground for good faithless people, that God would have compassion on their soul, and show mercy and save them from hell. That basically these middle ground people will be saved, and having to learn perhaps in heaven what they should have learned on earth.

I don't care what religion you are, just what is it you feel in your heart. Is there middle ground? for border liners to improve. Do you believe there is more than one level in heaven? Perhaps border liners are Reincarnated?
Is Love alone enough to get you into heaven?
Perspective, perspective, and perspective.... I like to hear yours!

Joseph Smith is still accursed because the gospel of the Book of Mormon is very different from the gospel of the Bible.

Since the Book of Mormon does not conform to the standard of the Bible, it is not of Christ, but condemned being a new and false gospel.

The Holy Bible says,

"Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind," Colossians 2:18

I know this question has been asked plenty of times before but I wanted to know the reason why Christians differentiate between the Muslim God and Christian God while relating with the Jewish God. The argument given sometimes is that because muslims do not believe in trinity and do not accept Jesus as son of God they do not share the same God. But what about the Jews.....they dont believe in Jesus as messiah either and they dont believe in trinity........so why are they treated differently? I'm just curious to know so please attack or disrespect anyone. Thank you

I am really intrigued by this. I started attending a Pentecostal based Bible study and the subject has come up. I was just like really curious for those of you that have done it. How do you feel like right before you do it, like how do you know you are going to?
No rude comments please!

I know in many of the major world's religions, islam included, the concept of the prayer is to cleanse the soul of sins(as well as form a connection with God). So why do Christians pray if their sins are already forgiven by the blood shed of Jesus Christ? I remember still asking for forgiveness in my prayers as a Christian, and now looking back on it I wonder why I did since I was "saved" anyway. I remember the Creeds by heart - especially the part in the liturgy that says "we confess we are in bondage to sin and cannot free ourselves. We have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed by what we have done and by what we have left undone..." So... explain the logic please. There seems to be no concept of prayer washing away sins since it's already been done by Jesus.

Jehovah's witnesses died under hitlers regime

it seems every one only cares about the jews that died, jehovahs witnesses choose to be faithful to their god,ask a catholic if they would die for their faith 99.9 % would say no i bet u.did u know the amount of jews that died was less then how many jehovah's witnesses died.

Taken from the "United States Holocaust Memorial Museum as a pamphlet titled "JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES".

Jehovah's Witnesses endured intense persecution under the Nazi regime. Actions against the religious group and its individual members spanned the Nazi years 1933 to 1945. Unlike Jews and Sinti and Roma ("Gypsies"), persecuted and killed by virtue of their birth, Jehovah's Witnesses had the opportunity to escape persecution and personal harm by renouncing their religious beliefs. The courage the vast majority displayed in refusing to do so, in the face of torture, maltreatment in concentration camps, and sometimes execution, won them the respect of many contemporaries

Are just providing entertainment for the evil one Satan?

Why would you want to do something like that> Have you ever considered that it might be a divine act that you are on this site with so many Christians? Okay you might laugh at that. But thier is a reason for everything and maybe just maybe it is your destiny as a un-believer to be here with so many people who love and worship the Lord up above..GOD Almighty that created all things living..

Just remember this for the weekend..
God loves you all and so do we...:)

How did the Old Testament predict Jesus Christ his life and death over 700 years before he arrived?

The Bible, written by at least 40 authors over a period of at least 1,500 years, is comprised of 66 books. These 66 books claim to contain over 1,000 Divinely inspired prophecies.

What other book has been able to do this?

Love the sinner, but hate the sin.

This is in my own words and not a direct quote from the Bible. There, I proved that Christians can think for themselves and still believe in the truth of the inspired word of the Holy Bible.

Here is the question:
Are atheists happy now that I have shown them that I think for myself?

A purely hypothetical U.S. election for president, and these are the 2 candidates:

A.) A former Senator who did wonders for the economy of his
home state, is well loved overseas, is peace minded but won't hesitate to use the military if it is truly called for, made bills that both reduced crime and strengthened the middle class... but wants to keep Church and state totally seperate. No "under god" in the pledge, no Intelliegent design in public schools, no 10 commandments on government property, no marriage amendment. He is an agnostic that feels religion should be a personal choice.

B.) A former governor who was indicted numerous times, had
3 admitted affairs, it was discovered that he used cocaine all through his 20s, his state's economy is in the toilet, and he has been heard numerous times spouting racist remarks... but he wants ID taught in public shools, wants marriage to be only man + woman, wants to use tax dollars to spread Christianity to 3rd world nations.

I am being serious and not trying to be a jerk. So let me explain this question. If I am understanding correctly, you find no evidence for an all-powerful God because you feel that science and logic cannot explain an all-powerful god. But, if science and logic could explain an all-poweful god, would that god really be all-poweful? Why would you want to worship a god that could only do stuff to the same level you can understand? Because then, that is a pretty weak god. I am not asking you to believe out of nowhere, but maybe try honestly seeking God, ask some good questions (to me if you think everyone else is a jerk). I tick other Christians off too because I ask and don't take stuff on their word. I dunno, maybe there is a chance that there is a God, and science just hasn't caught up to him yet?
