If Love is the greatest of the comnandments, and you have loved with all your heart and you have no faith in God... How do you think this person would be judged in the end?

Do you not think that there is middle ground for good faithless people, that God would have compassion on their soul, and show mercy and save them from hell. That basically these middle ground people will be saved, and having to learn perhaps in heaven what they should have learned on earth.

I don't care what religion you are, just what is it you feel in your heart. Is there middle ground? for border liners to improve. Do you believe there is more than one level in heaven? Perhaps border liners are Reincarnated?
Is Love alone enough to get you into heaven?
Perspective, perspective, and perspective.... I like to hear yours!

i would imagine that someone who loves with all their heart
unconditionally and unselfishly
cannot be punished for that
this is why ( with respect ) i do not understand being saved
why would God punish a perfectly good loving compassionate person who simply chose a different path
yet allow someone to live eternally in heaven , who has sinned and sinned yet is saved
makes no sense sorry

There is no such thing as a middle ground in where God is concern. Either you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour or not. Revelation 3:15 "You have to be either hot or cold, not lukewarm, else I will spit you out of my mouth. Love is the first commandment, but listen to this. You must love the Lord your God with all....the second is like it and love your neighbour as yourself.....love your enemies..... Now, you tell me, how can a person have the love of God in them without first knowing God. Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. It's the Word of God that tells us about love. John 3:16 "For God so love......" It's like convincing a person that I was born in America but holds a British birth certificate. Does that make any sense to you? You cannot have the love that Jesus was speaking about in Matthew 22:37 and not have faith in God. It is impossible. Love, be bless.

The person would be judged a sinner, of course. God has revealed the charges He has against all of us: "There is none righteous, no, not one ... There is none who seeks after God" (Rom. 3:10, 11). Only faith in Jesus and repentance toward God grants us the righteousness we need to enter the kingdom of heaven and be rewarded for our works.

God is not looking for nice people in pews. He is looking for people who will surrender their lives to Him and obey Him. There is no middle ground. When Jesus died on the cross, God was saying that there was no other way He could save us. All haev sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Thankfully, God found a way to make us righteous apart from laws and deeds -- by faith in Jesus alone (Rom. 3:20-24).

Just cuz u said mom i love chocolate icecream.U gonna die for it.Love in the sense from GOD point of view not our point of view.

Read 1 corintians 13 chapters.Thats Love.Do u think man will be able to love with that love??.

Only JESUS alone takes u too heaven.U cant know love unless u know JESUS.U think u know love but its conditional. Its not perfected just a tiny stone on a seashore.

When u know JESUS u know love.JESUS is the only way to heaven. When u have JESUS u are saved.

GOD loves u so much that he sent his son JESUS to die for u to reconcile u back.

John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life".Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.

I think you are closer to the Divine Truth than most.

Personally, I think that the process of becoming more Christlike (which is the same as becoming more like Love itself) goes on and on even after we die. I don't think anyone just dies and then *boom* they're perfect...or they're damned. Personally, I believe something akin to the doctrine of purgatory, not as a physical place, but as a process of purification, of becoming what we were meant to be even after we die. I don't believe in reincarnation per se, but I do think that each life continues forever. I also believe that a perfect God, with a perfect Love, is able to guard and keep all of his creatures forever.

The Bible is clear that there is no middle ground - it's black or white. God said be either hot or cold - He will spew the lukewarm out of His mouth. It all comes down to 1 thing - do you have a relationship with Jesus or not - if it was about being good enough no one would make it. We are all depraved.

I think that deep down those people who love deeply, actually do believe. I also believe that it is possible that the non-believers are really just people who have not had the opportunity to know God; therefor, will be saved at judgment. It is those who are offerred God, and taught the Word who turn and deny Him completely that are not saved.

My understanding is that however people are judged, the punishment will fit the crime. That means some people will have it worse than others.

The command to love is not just a command to love other people, but a command to love God as well. You can't love God if you don't think there is a God, so if you don't think there is a God, then you can't really keep the command.

I evaluate myself a reasonably ethical man or woman. sure, i ought to in all likelihood get carry of greater textile issues purchase mendacity and cheating. Why could that fulfill me? you're assuming I placed textile wealth above happiness, or maybe contentment. The final sentence is incomprehensible in the severe. If a loving god does exist, I don't see how he could just toss his creation into hell for a certain belief when that creation was loving. On the same note, would a evil person who killed many in the name of his faith and was extremely devout get into heaven?

Only God can judge what state a person's soul and heart are in.

EDIT: and God gives us all a choice, the choice to follow the path to Him or the path away from Him , He leaves that all up to you
