First of all, you were not created by God:you were made by your parents. We all come from Adam and we are all born with the sin nature of Adam, which is in the flesh of everyone that is born from Adam. If you are a new creature [ 2nd Cor. 5:17 ], if you have been born from above [ born again, but this time as a spiritual being ]: you were "then " created as a new creature because now you are a spirit [ Romans 8:15 ] Paul speaking," For we have not received the spirit of this world to fear again, but we have received the spirit of "adoption " wheree now we can call almighty God:Abba-Father..".[ or Daddy ]. You were born from the desires of the flesh, or you can day it like this," you were born from the desires of sex between your father and your mother " [John 1:12 & 13 ]. So your body was made by your parents;, but when you were born again and became a child of the most high God....you were born a spiritual being [1st Cor.10-16 ]......that is why those that are still carnal; they cannot understand the spiritual things of God...especially to understant the precious Word of the living God. You have to have the Holy Spirit in order to understant the Holy Scriptures, because the Holy Spirit becomes our teacher [ 1st John 2:20 & 27 ]. Love you in Jesus name, heavenlyborn

Symmetry would be an evolutionary advantage, for several reasons:
1) A blob of skin and blood sitting on the ground would have more difficulty moving around. For a hunter, it would obviously have difficulty going after prey. If it can't go after prey somehow, it can't eat. If it can't eat, it won't live long. (Don't even get me started on how such a creature would be able to reproduce.) The only place you typically see creatures like this are in the water, and even they have some means of navigation. (Think Jellyfish.)
2) Symmetrical vision [one eye on each side] tends to provide better seeing than a single eye (in much the same way that two telescopes viewing the same star can get a better image of the star working jointly than individually.)
3) Having an ear on your forehead, and another on the back of your neck would not provide as decent hearing. The fact we have one ear to the right and one ear to the left must have provided better hearing. (With two eyes in front, and one ear on each side, it obviously makes it trickier for somebody to sneak up on us. Even from behind, the ears working in unison can often give away somebody approaching.)
4) Similarly, having one arm on each side maximizes your reach. You can reach around your front, and around your back very well. You can touch the top of your head, and your toes as well. If you had one arm on your navel, there may be spots that you wouldn't be able to reach as easily. Not having this reach would be an evolutionary disadvantage - think how it would impact hunters and/or gatherers. It would also make swimming tedious, if possible at all. And what about climbing? (Forget about it!)

We have still yet to see any evidence of one species becoming another. Variations in the same species doesn't equate to evolution. For all we know at this stage is that those variations are preprogrammed in the DNA as possible variations. Mixing of DNA may make a new type of dog, but it is still a dog. So, even if a complex single cell organism managed to spontaneously form with perfect parts one time or even a thousand times, it wouldn't account for the wonderful variety of life here on Earth.
Evolution claims, random change & natural selection make simple things spontaneously transform into more complex things without recourse to intelligent design. Chance and random changes simply do not produce higher levels of organization & complexity.

You are built as you are because that was the most beneficial way for your ancestors to live. How long would they have lived if they HAD an eye on their knee, and another at the back of their head? Probably not long enough to reproduce, and have you! :-)
That being said, I don't believe that evolution precludes the existence of God; I think creation and evolution are just two different ways of talking about the same event. Neither one is better than the other - they're just from different points of view.

Actually you're not in good proportion. Humans are not perfectly symmetrical. You're ears are not level. You're feet are two different sizes. & etc. God really screwed up on you.
If you didn't have a skelaton and were just a big blob of skin and blood sitting on the floor, the odds that a girl would have sex with you, even out of pity, before you starved to death, are extremely low. Thus, your kind would become extinct. And people with skeletons would live on to reproduce.

Yep. Evolution is the answer. And adaptation. And natural selection. Having an eye on the knee is not very functional and those people would have died off thousands of years ago. It's also about symmetry. Most animals have symmetrical proportions, unless they have evolved otherwise, like that one fish that lays on the bottom of the ocean and has both eyes on one side of it's body. It needed both of it's eyes there so it could hide on the bottom and still see above. I guess if we needed to see at knee-level we would have eyes on our knees. But what's the point?

if u were a "blob of skin and blood sitting on the ground" u wouldn't be able to survive on your own! read up on evolution before u criticise it! evolution is basically "survival of the fittest" sort of thing....
and u might want to think about all the people who ARE born without arms and legs...why are some people born blind? why don't some people have fingers? if u put those people into a jungle,do u think (even without the danger of predators) that they could survive on their own?
e.g.how would a person who didn't have arms climb a tree to get food?

Why did you capitalize the word theory? As if thory means it's not proven? Why don't YOU look up the scientific meaning of the word THEORY. I mean if gravity is really there how come I dont stay in the air?(I know you are prob going to provide me with the THEORY of gravity)..grow up.
If you don't want me to give an answer based on the theory of evolution then I will just tell you...
Because you got lucky thats why.
I mean if there really are aliens out there and we ever do find them and they look like they do in pictures..I'll say you're REALLY lucky.

First proportioned is relative.
Second you have a bunch of weird crap that doesn't make sense just like you suggest:
* Wisdom Teeth - there isn't room on your jaw for them anymore.
* Your little toe - totally useless. Nice intelligent design here.
* Your appendix - totally useless now but it does digest cellulose in other species.
* Your inner eyelids - They don't even work now, but they do for lots of other animals like house cats. Bet you didn't even know you had 'em.
* Vestigial DNA - meaning chromosomes that we have but don't use, but that are used in other species. We have several that other primates use but are totally useless to us.
* Your tail bone. It is even not that uncommon to be born with a tail.
* Goosebumps - this would be useful if we had fur because it fluffs it and makes more insulation. For us it is worthless.
* The hair standing up on your neck when you are frightened. Animals use this to make themselves look bigger. Doesn't work when you walk upright and don't have fur.
* Human lower back problems. Your back is intelligently designed to have support from your shoulders.
If we had something that was very detrimental to our survival like you suggested then we would have died off a long time ago.

What we grew up to witness becomes the normal. We look strange to aliens and they to us.
If you have not seen "disproportional" beings, you haven't really looked farther than you grew up to know.
Don't the fore limbs of dinosaurs look disproportionate to their massive bodies? Why do bats hang upside down plus look both rat & bird? Why did your "perfect" creation make for deadly microorganisms including HIV? How about poisonous reptiles & killer sharks? Of what good use are mosquitos, molds & cyanide gas?
Lastly, what makes you think I would look disproportionate having wings so I can fly?
