Genesis 9:20-25 tells us, "Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, he said, "Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers."

Actually what did his son do to his Dad when he saw his dad naked. Did he just look at him or did he do something to him, and why was Noah wife not in the tent, where was she. The scriptures allude that Ham did something, but don't say much, it can be assumed that Ham might have been gay and the trip in the Ark was a long one and he needed a little gay something and dad just happen to be drunk. Dad woke upo and fgured out what happen after he got over his hangover.

Genesis 9:20 - 21 (NKJV) 20And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. 21Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent.

Well as we can see, he got drunk, got naked, and sat in his tent. His son Ham walks in (It is said that Ham may have been a little homosexual and lusted after his naked father, or may have even sexually harrassed him somehow, I lean more towards the lust because he ran to tell his brothers to LOOK the same way he LOOKED, but if he had harrased his dad in someway it makes Noah knowing what Ham did when he woke up so easily understandable), see's his dad naked and runs to tell his brothers.

Genesis 9:22 (NKJV) 22And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.

Buut, Hams brothers aint into seeing their naked dad like that, so they put a blanket over they father, out of respect for him.

Genesis 9:23 (NKJV) 23But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s nakedness.

Then Noah wakes up, sees what happened and curses Ham's son Canaan.

Genesis 9:24 - 25 (NKJV) 24So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. 25Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.”

And Blesses Shem and Japeth

Genesis 9:26 - 27 (NKJV) 26And he said: “Blessed be the Lord, The God of Shem, And may Canaan be his servant. 27 May God enlarge Japheth, And may he dwell in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant.”

Hope this helps with whatever it is your tryna learn, and I hope whatever it is is has something to do with growing closer to Christ.

I'm having a hard time finding the reference, but I believe that he was drunk and unclothed in his tent. There is something about his son, Ham, looking at his nakedness while Shem and Japheth covered him up. Because of what Ham did, Noah cursed him.
