Of course, you know that people who go door to door have heard all the rude lines aready, I'm sure. They've seen naked people, they've heard about your secret satanic cult, they've been told to "bugger off" and worse.
Stuff like that just convinces them that you need what they have for you. They'll go away today, pray for you tomorrow, and be back the next day.
Politely and gently tell them "Thank you, I've already heard the Gospel message. I appreciate your concern, but I have read the Bible, and I have made my decision." Most Christians will still hand you some of their literature, but they will go away. You can always toss the stuff if you don't want to read it.
If they persist, tell them. "I'm sorry. I am just not interested. I know you are concerned for my soul, but wouldn't your time be better spent with someone who really wants and needs what you have to share with them?" Smile and firmly close the door.
Personally, I am very sad to hear that you are not interested, but I do not believe in shoving my religion down anyone's throat. It's just that Christians tend to take after their Father...we are not willing that anyone...no, not even the 'tard that comes to the door naked...should perish.
God bless you, if it is not an imposition.

The Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians. They are well known for their door-to-door ministry.
They are the only ones who respect Jesus' command which can be found in Matthew 28:19 -- "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit."
Jesus also said that the good news will be preached all around the world. And again the Jehovah's Witnesses are the only ones who do this important work. Their message have been heard until now in 236 territories or countries.
"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." -- Matthew 24:14
"Also, in all the nations the good news has to be preached first." -- Mark 13:10
Jesus and his disciples preached themselves the good news.
"And Jesus set out on a tour of all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and curing every sort of disease and every sort of infirmity." -- Matthew 9:35
"After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come." -- Luke 10:1
"If, now, I am declaring the good news, it is no reason for me to boast, for necessity is laid upon me. Really, woe is me if I did not declare the good news!" -- 1 Corinthians 9:16
If you are not interested in talking to the Jehovah's Witnesses you can tell them that (in a nice way) and they will understand.

"You have my beliefs and you have yours so lets simply respect each others beliefs and leave it be." I'm not trying to be polite, I just tell it the way it is although I could've said it a lot worse. But to tell you the truth I am smart enough to peek out the window before I open the door so usually I never open the door to them. He/she said religious people not just Christians/God believers so I don't even know why you bring that up.

The literature is donation in straightforward terms, and additionally you do no longer could desire to go away one to receive the bible-based literature. that's basically contingent on a individual's pastime. We additionally grant unfastened homestead bible study for people who're fascinated. the reason they save coming lower back to you is as a results of the fact they think of you have an pastime in discovering with regard to the bible. You know, I've heard a lot of responses from people like "Tell them to f*** off" or "Sic your dog on them!" or my personal favorite "Tell them you worship Satan". All these people are trying to do is share a positive thought with you that might actually help you! *gasp* Oh my!
Take a few minutes out of your life and just listen. It's not like they're going to convert you or throw a Bible down your throat. (which is hilarious when I hear someone actually say that they're "forcing" their religion)

Say "Sorry, but I'm not interested." Then shut the door really quickly and lock it.
Door to door people are worse than telemarketers.

Are you selling vacuum cleaners? I have a vacuum cleaner. I use my vacum cleaner to suck up dog poopie. Would you like to see my dog poopie?
On the other hand don't try that tactic. They might think you're posessed and start an exocism.
How about, "I'm sorry but i don't talk to strangers."?
