Reading Revelations 21-22 leads me to believe eternity is spent gazing at the face of God in a city where there is no sun and no moon and no night...ever.
So there are no parties, no trips to DisneyWorld, no pets, no gardening, no walking through a forest and listening to the thunder, rain or the wind, no night and no stars to gaze at...
There are no lovers, no love-making, no new babies to teach or delight in their accomplishments...
There are no challenges to overcome, no new frontiers to explore, nothing new to learn...
Just gazing...and gazing...and gazing at the face of God...for ever...and ever...and ever...for all of Eternity...
And according to Revelations God will -never- get bored of this.
Now maybe I'm missing some Chapter and Verse that says Heaven is a luau. So if you know of any chapter and verse that says something different to what I've just described above, tell me.
If not, tell me why you want to spend forever gazing at the face of God.
