You obviously believe in God and are being convicted by Him.
We all have had sexual desires, temptations and lusts of all kinds in our life.
If we succomb to it then we have to Repent.
As Jesus said to Mary Magdeline and the woman who was caught in adultery, Your Faith has saved you, GO AND SIN NO MORE.
So take heed if you wan't to save yourself, and I mean this with Love.
God Loves you, He just detests what you do and because you know, PLEASE turn from momentary pleasure and turn to Jesus for Eternal Life.

Wow, tough question. I think the most important part about the equation is how people who claim to be Christians are acting towards people who struggle with homosexuality.
I personally don't know if being gay is a nature or a nurture situation, but what I DO know is....if it's a sin and I judge...I had better be darn perfect. But I'm not. Only God is perfect.
I guess we'll find out what the "big picture" is some day. It's really not that big of a deal to me, and I'm a Christian. But then again I prefer to concentrate on the more important things, like how can I show Christ's love to EVERYONE!
Thanks for racking my brain today!

Dear leroy,
First, God never makes mistakes! I do not know if you read the Bible or not but God did not force man to rebel against His commandments. Man chose to rebel against God. Since the Lord is perfectly just and righteous, He could have righteously destroyed mankind. But God in His great mercy, determined that He would save some of the se rebels and make them His children and bring them to heaven. But before He could bring them into heaven, the sin penalty (eternal damnation) had to be paid. Remember when God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah? The Lord saved Lot and his two daughters but killed all the others. God is the Judge.
The Lord Jesus became a man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and then paid the sin penalty for those whom He had chosen to save before He created the world (Ephesians 1:3-5). What a display of the mercy, forbearance, and love of God!
As far as your other staements, which are false, you don't realize who you are mocking! From everything the Bible tells us, 2011 may be the year the Lord Jesus returns. His return will mark the end of time, the end of theuniverse, and Judgment Day.

It strikes me because of the fact the bible comming out against the intercourse and not the courting. you may actually argue that the biblical authors conceived of intercourse's purpose as reproduction, and intercourse between 2 homosexuals as a perversion of that necessary purpose. although, you may actually argue that the Bible because of the fact it grew to become into generally written by potential of sinful human beings (for all have sinned and fallen wanting the huge distinction of God) grew to become into not meant to be taken be conscious for be conscious, each and every thing is God's dictated be conscious down on earth. The verse many human beings state in help of Biblical inerrancy (i've got self belief its the two in Peter or Timothy) basically states that the holy spirit actually went into the authors who wrote the Bible (taken from the Greek, the verses and meaning look to connote an very nearly pentecostal creation of the Bible.) It does not say it grew to become into routinely dictated by potential of God. There seems a distinction a minimum of to me. Plus, we additionally see an inherant skill of the Church to conform in Acts whilst Paul got here decrease back speaking approximately what the Gentiles have been doing. i think of the Bible interior of it shouts out to all Christians to conform, and to understand the middle of the message (i.e. love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your ideas; and love your neighbor as your self. those are the two commandments that the regulation holds. (this may well be a ruff precis of that passage)).

God created everyone perfect, he makes no mistakes. The sin of homosexuality is put in a persons mind by the devil just as he does when we act on sin.
Maybe the only mistake God made was that he actually loved us and showed us his mercy in by not destroying everyone in the flood.

God gave us all choices and we are responsible for those choices. We are all born sinners. A perfect example of this in the Bible, if you are referring to the Christian God, is the scripture that states Jacob was born a heal grasper. Meaning Jacob was born to steal. He was born a theif! It doesn't mean that he can't change his behavior, but it is something he will struggle with all his life. Just like a man or a woman can be born with the inclination to like their own sex, but it is something they will have to overcome. So yes, essentially one can be born gay. But it is not any worse than any other act that someone else can do.

1. There is a God
2. God doesn't "make people do anything
3. If God made Mistakes, then there wouldn't be one, And we be lost.
Granted, we don't have a choice on earth as to what race or sex we are. But being gay is a choice. Those that have "homosexual tendencies", could have issues like past trauma, hormonal imbalance, or social rejection for example. But, to be "Gay" is to choose to be Gay.

Good question. Then, I ask, why did God create any of us. I mean afterall, we are all sinners as the Bible clearly teaches. That is precisely why we need a savior from meeting a judgment for our sin. Jesus Christ is that Savior. As St Paul teaches we are "free from sin" - written 3 times by Paul. It doesn't mean free from sinning. It means we are now free from condemnation that we deserve for our sin, free from guilt, free from the shame of our sin. Once we come to Christ we strive not to sin, but when we fail we turn back to the cross and thank our Lord for his unfailing love. Amen!

I've gone round and round about this one. It's the kind of topic that just goes in circles.
Supposedly, God gave us free will. Therefore we have the will to be/or do as we please. It just won't make him happy.
But then there's the argument on whether you're born gay or straight. I think both are possibilities. I'm bisexual, and I lean towards liking women but I could decide to spend my life just dating men.
It's like a math problem with too many variables, it's just to hard to get a clear answer.
