Why do pompous, self-righteous, war-mongering, dictatorial neocons think Jesus was a heartless, hateful ***** like themselves?

Nobody thinks Jesus was a dope-smoking liberal queer. He most probably didn't smoke pot and certainly was not a homosexual, and nobody thinks he was.
However, he certainly was a liberal, and modern political conservatives are in direct opposition to his teachings.
Conservatives hate liberal ideas like free college tuition and free health care. Did Jesus ever accept money to teach or heal? They hate moral relativism, but Jesus taught that even the ten commandments were flexible, even finding ways to justify Sabbath-breaking. They hate the idea of serving free school lunches to kids. What do they think of Jesus' feeding the 5,000? They hate anyone who is a socialist, but John the Baptist clearly was ("If you have two coats and your brother has none, give him one of yours") and Jesus called him the wisest man who ever lived, himself excluded of course. He also believed in separation of church and state and paying taxes.
Oh, I nearly forgot, he also said not to charge interest on a loan and was opposed to public prayer.
Oh, and about Jesus being Caucasian...WHAT? You are pathetically incompetent.

"Jesus was a Caucasian guy."
But Judas had to point out to the Roman soldiers which one of the 11 other Jewish men were him. Caucasians have a tendency to stick out around Jews. Where in the Bible does it say anything about race? Or politics?
How can you justify mixing politics and religion when Jesus says "Lend up to Ceasar what is Ceasar's and lend up God what is God's" meaning worldy things have wordly solutions, Godly things have Godly solutions. What business does have dark and light mixing?

Why do religious fanatics always believe Jesus was as close-minded as they are?
Jesus never said anything, positive or negative, about smoking, but he was very outspoken against hypocrisy and intolerance.
And considering that he spent most of his time and energy trying to help others--especially poor people--and preaching forgiveness and tolerance, it's actually fairly accurate to call him a liberal.

the individuals i understand from decrease back then do not all fall into one type. maximum of them that I nonetheless understand are efficient. the two very own their very own agencies, or are instructors, or police officers, or homemakers. i think of maximum individuals who went by using that era basically have been given on with genuine existence. We may well be greater tolerant human beings nevertheless because of the fact of it. i understand some losers that by no potential have been given over partying, yet i don't think of that's plenty diverse than the often happening share of youngsters who basically wade by using existence in any era. our infants have been much less waiting to pull the wool over our eyes, that grew to become right into a plus. I knew whilst my oldest son got here domicile stoned the 1st time. i did not could seek his room for pot, I already knew we've been way previous that action. yet what I had lived decrease back in the overdue 60's grew to become right into a boon to that verbal substitute average. whilst he left for college i understand he smoked and drank, yet I had gotten by using to him approximately moderation and he grew to become into accountable adequate to deliver domicile over a three.0 each and every semester. So it not basically affected us yet additionally our infants and what they are transforming into.

Well Jesus was certainly not a money grubbing, poor hating, disease shunning, gun toting right winger either.
And while there was no weed and no mention of gay people, he did like his wine, food and regular socializing with whores and other low lives.

How do you know Jesus wasn't a pot smoking liberal hippy queer?
Were you there? Did you speak to him? No someone told someone else and then someone wrote it down, then someone else translated it later.
