I guess you can say I'm a chirstian/cathllic. I haven't gone to any services in a long time. It not because I don't want to. I try to pry every night and try to always do the right thing. I even try not to curse. I think I lost my way but can anyone tell me if my heart is in the right place? thank you.

An Imam was the first person to speak during the gathering yesterday at Virginia Tech in rememberence of the victims of Cho Seung-Hi. He was the first person to condemn the actions of this deranged young man against Christian and Jewish students and teachers.

As a Christian most friends of mine are Christian I also have close friends in the Jewish faith and 1 Buddhist friend..

I never had had a friend who was an Atheist , Muslim or Hindu
or Pagan.. If I did I would tell them about Jesus and that he is the SON of GOD and they proably would not opt to be friends
but maybe they would and see the light which would be awesome

The Old Testament says it's Jehovah.

The New Testament says it's Jesus. Which is lying?

If neither, then wouldn't Jesus and Jehovah be the same person? If they aren't, then does the Bible contain man-made errors?

If the Bible contains man-made errors, then wouldn't someone basing his/her religion word-for-word on the Bible automatically transmit those errors into his/her worship?

DO you feel that you have a lot in common with other pagans? For example, if you worship Norse gods and met someone who worships Greek gods--do you feel your religions have a lot in common? Or that personal convictions may have a lot in common?

In school, it is always taught that Jupiter is the roman version of Zeus. Hermes=Mercury, Aprodite=Venus. To me it seems similar if you are studying it for the story element of it. But that is the same as saying the christian god=the muslim god since they are both monotheistic.

The stories might be similar as the cultures may have been somewhat similar--but really it is a competely different belief system.

Do you see other pagans are more your spiritual equal, or more a complete opposite of your beliefs?

Or do you think the bond isn't so much the belief system itself but in the way you came about your beliefs and in the understanding shared in the way you are treated by the majority?

Yea sure they wake you up in the mornig but the reason why is to give you information that can save and prolong you life

They are just giving a warning that Jesus commisioned his followers to do (Matt.28:19.20)

But I think the reason why they are hated so much is because it was foretold by Jesus (Matt. 24:9-14) (Matthew 10:22)

But you know what even Jesus was hated and even died on a torture stake for preaching so why should JW expect anything less?
