Hosea 13:4 states that there is only ONE God and ONE Savior: "But I am Jehovah, who brought you out of Egypt. You shall acknowledge no God but me, no savior except me."
If JWs care to pick up their New World Translations and compare the following pairs to texts, one with the other, they might waken up to the scale of their problem in supposing Christ is merely delegated by Jehovah:
Isaiah 9:6 with Isaiah 10:21,21
Deut 10:17 with Rev 17:14
Zech 11:12,13 with Mat 27:3-6
Isaiah 44:6 with Rev 1:17
Isa 44:24 (with 44:8,12,13 & Neh 9:6) with John 1:1
1 Kings 8:39 with Mark 2:8 & Rev 2:18,23
Jer 2:13 & 17:13 with John 7:37,38
Isa 45:21,11 with Mat 1:20,21
Isa 54:5 with 2 Cor 11:2
Deut 32:39 with John 1:1,2
Isa 42:8 with Rev 5:13
Psalm 68:18 with Eph 4:7-9
Once they've faced up to what those scriptures are saying, they will see your Q is valid and needs an answer that does not come for Watchtower Society interpretation of scripture. However, my answer in no way validates the idea that the Bible contains man-made errors - it shows how the Bible itself teaches the deity of Christ - not another god, but that Christ is the same God, the Only God, the Creator - Immanuel, "God With Us".

Without looking up the subject or researching it, what I've read from the bible tells me that the identity of Jesus was not revealed to the writers of the Old Testament but they knew that Jehovah would provide a ransom sacrifice for mankind. Since Jehovah PROVIDED the sacrifice and Jesus IS the sacrifice, they are both considered a savior. Since you addressed this question to JWs, implied that at least half of our interpretation is lying, and suggested that Jesus and Jehovah MUST be the same else the bible contains man- made errors which must have subsequently been transmitted into our worship "automatically", then no doubt you thought you'd cleverly found fault with JWs. Again, the fact of the matter is that the bible identifies Jesus and Jehovah as two separate, distinct individuals and that Jehovah is the provider of the ransom and Jesus is the ransom, thus qualifying both as "Savior".
By the way, could you please tell us what scriptures you're using to determine your use of the word "ONLY"? Where in the bible does it say one or the other is the ONLY Lord/Savior/Judge? I can't find it. If it's there, please let us know.

This is a typical question that Trinitarians use to try and link Jesus and Jehovah and make it seem like they are apart of the same Trinitarian Godhead. But the scriptures have an answer as to why Jesus is called Lord and Saviour as well as his Father Jehovah. Interesting are the words found in Acts 2:36 "Therefore let the house of Israel know for certainty that God made him(Jesus Christ) both Lord and Christ".
We see that Jehovah made Jesus Lord. Lets look at more bible texts to further confirm this.
Acts 5:31 "God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins."
Yes once again we see that Jehovah exalted and made Jesus Saviour.
Phili 2:9 "For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name".
So we keep seeing that God has to exalt Jesus and give him these titles, which shows that he hasnt always had them. And if Jesus was God almighty then why does someone else need to exalt him?

appropriate Pronunciation of the Divine call. “Jehovah” is the suitable oftentimes occurring English pronunciation of the divine call, even although “Yahweh” is favorite by using maximum Hebrew pupils. The oldest Hebrew manuscripts present day the call contained in the variety of four consonants, often reported as the Tetragrammaton (from Greek te·tra-, meaning “4,” and gram?ma, “letter”). those 4 letters (written from authentic to left) are ???? and could be transliterated into English as YHWH (or, JHVH). The Hebrew consonants of the call are hence oftentimes occurring. The question is, Which vowels are to be blended with those consonants? Vowel factors did no longer come into use in Hebrew till the 2d a million/2 of the 1st millennium C.E. apart from, through fact of a non secular superstition that had started centuries in the previous, the vowel pointing present day in Hebrew manuscripts does no longer supply the main for figuring out which vowels might desire to seem contained in the divine call.

As you have said, Jesus is Jehovah's son.
Colossians 1: 15-17 shows Jesus as being the firstborn of creation, that is, the only creature personally created by God. After that Jehovah used Jesus to create everything else.
Jesus, himself showed that he is a conduit to Jehovah. All power comes from Jehovah. The only way to get to Jehovah is through Jesus. Which is why when we pray, it is in or through Jesus' name. Jehovah established Jesus as King of God's Kingdom over His creation.--John 14: 6, 14; Daniel 7: 13-14
We see old and new testsaments are in agreement. Lord/Savior/Judge of mankind is Jesus but it is by Jehovah's power that this is done.

This question sets up what is known as a false dichotomy, as if the answer has to be either-or. It doesn't have to be either-or. In this case, the correct answer is both-and.
The Christian writer Jude puts it this way:
"To the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, might, and authority, from all ages past, and now, and forever and ever! Amen." (Jude 25, Good News Bible)
Jehovah God does many things *through* the agency of his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Since God is the Author of salvation, in that he sent his Son (John 3:16), Jehovah can be called Savior. Since Jesus is the one who actually died for our sins, he, also, can be called Savior.
Similarly with the titles "Lord" and "Judge." Jehovah is the Sovereign Lord, the Head of all, including the Head over Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:3) But since God has *given* all authority to Jesus Christ, he is also called Lord. (Matthew 28:18)
Jehovah is the Supreme Judge, but He has also delegated or *given* judging authority to his Son. (John 5:27)
Thus, in the work of salvation Jehovah and Jesus are "one." But the fact that Jesus has to be *given* his powers and authority by the Father shows that Jesus is not Jehovah.

Only one person can be called The Almighty.
Only Yahweh is refered to as The Almighty.
Jesus is never refered to as such in the Old or New Testament.
Thats it.
Have a good day.

There are many names for our saviour...Jehovah, Jesus, the Christ, yaweh, Adonai, I am......the list goes on. But no matter which you choose, they refer to the same person.
The "word" ie: the Bible is the infallable word of God. There are no errors. The problem lies in that people will always try to interperate the Bible in ways that will soothe their conscience or pertain to what they want to believe is right or true as oppesed to what is actually true. We can't pick and choose what we want to follow.....either the entire word is wrong or is it all right.
Worship is a matter of the heart. Worship is expressing your feelings and love for the Lord in a personal way. It is an intimate thing between you and the creator...there is no wrong way to express your heart to the lord.

Jehovah(God) in the Old Testament. It was through Jesus in the New Testament, that Jehovah (God) made provisions for our sins to be redeemed. I am interested in the answers that follow though. Good question.
