I can understand that feeling. In high school I was uber christian girl (really involved in church, joined the christian club, etc.) but after high school I just kind of stopped going to church and stopped talking to God. I definately fell off the path quite a ways, but in the last several months I've been trying to gain it back. I go to church sporadically now, but I do pray every day, I try to read my Bible (although I don't very often), I try to make decisions based on what God and Jesus would want, I try to do the right thing, and I'm trying really hard not curse. It's a tough battle to get back what I once had in my relationship with God, or better yet, I'd love to get something deeper, richer.
I think that even if you don't always go to church and do all the "good Christian" things, the most important thing is that you are trying to keep a relationship with God. I think your heart is in the right place, all you need to do is nurture that relationship you have.

Hi Alexa, what you are going thru is pretty common and we all experience up`s and down`s in our faith, there are many reasons for this, the most common is discouragement and so many suffer from this today.
Christians are coming under increasing pressures especially because of our hectic lifestyles and we really need to take time out to get ourselves back on track.
You really need to make an effort to go to Mass and the other sacraments, these day`s if you don`t use it you can lose it.
Remember too that the love of God for you has not changed one bit nor has the lure of sin and it`s serious consequences so try to keep your eyes focused on Christ more and you will be happier and more peaceful.

I at one point lost my way also. I went to church everyday but my heart wasn't in the right place. This week I realized that my heart wasn't in the right place. So now I decided to become the person I once was and go back to god. I really think you should go back to church and you should know god will always love no matter how far you are from him.
God Bless You.

You may be lost, but I assure you that God never looses his posession.
I believe that once a person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is forever in the family of God. God never kicks anyone our of his forever family. A number of Scripture passages support this view. For example, in 1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.
Another fact we need to keep in mind is that Christ regularly prays for each Christian (Hewbews 7:25). With Jesus interceding for us, we are sucure. (His prayers are always answered!)
Of course, the fact that a believer is secure in his salvation does not mean he is free to sin. If the Christian sins and remains in that sin, Scripture says that God will discipline him or her just as a father disciplines his children (see Hebrews 12:7-11).

Dear sister, my advice to you is "keep on pressing". Everything and everyone has seasons, perhaps your're in a drought. Don't be discouraged, your season of rain will come because you trust the Lord. Keep your eyes on him and let him handle the rest. God Bless You. Your heart is in the right place.

Being Christian is not about going to services or even trying to pray every night and do the right thing.
Being Christian is about knowing the love that God poured out on us through his Son, and sharing that love with the world.
Forgive me but it sounds like your focus is on yourself and what you are doing, instead of on God and what He is doing. Hope this helps.

I think you are very young. You will have these feelings now and then throughout your life. What you do about them can make you more anxious, or help you feel more peace. The choice will always be yours, If you are thinking about your spirituality enough to worry, at least you are aware. Keep thinking about it and what you want, or need to do.
God Bless You.
