If she's a GOOD teacher. We need more "teaching" inside the home too. Look at today's kids. Usually men don't like to parent. Combine that with "quiet" or absent women and V-Tech will be an annual event.
P.S. I would worry more about yourself. Why did your brain decide to post this question in the R&S category?

Well, I teach everyday. My kids learn from watching me, from seeing what I do, from hearing the things I say. All women teach in one form or another. That is a woman's nature. I have known much better teachers in school and church that have been women. They are more gentle, kind, affectionate- yes that can be a good thing!!- and more willing to help others then most men are.
I bet you are trying to get a rise out of us women huh? Looks like you got some already!! ;)

There is only one place in the Bible where it says the woman should remain silent and that is in a church service.
There is no prohibition for her to teach other women, children, young adults etc.
Look in the Epistles and see how many women Paul called his co-workers in the gospel and praised them for their service.
Too many women don't develop their spiritual gifts because too much emphasis is placed on the teaching of women to be silent.

Depends on if you go by what is accepted in the world we now live in or if you are basing it on the ancient prejudices of first century life.
By today's standards: Yes if she is qualified
By first century (THE BIBLE) standards: No they are to be silent! 1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Priscilla, along with her husband Aquila, taught Apollo in the book of Acts.
Deborah was a judge and prophetess in the book of Judges.
Phillips daughters were prophetesses.
The Corinthian ladies were given instructions on how to appropriately present themselves, because of local culture, when they prophesied in church.
The first evangelist to announce the resurrection was a woman, Mary of Magdala, in John 20.
The first persons to announce the birth of the Son of God were Elizabeth (mother of John the Baptist) and Anne, in the temple when Jesus was 8 days old.
So, draw your conclusions.

If you are referring to Paul's quote, he says he doesn't allow a woman to teach a man. The cultural inappropriateness in his day was serious to Jews and many other cultures but not the Greeks and Romans who had traditions of female priestesses and high priestesses, thus prompting him to make the point. Paul blamed Eve for The Fall of adam and Eve. He's wrong of course. It was completely Adam's responsibility.

You mean teach in the Church? Women and Men are equal in dignity but not the same. We have different roles. Women play a big role especially when you look at Mary and the role she plays in our salvation as "Queen of the Heavens." She is the mother of God, and she is here to help us as well - praise be her name.
Of course women can teach about the faith, not as priests or deacons but other roles in the church and as a loving mother. This I assume is what you are asking?

Yeah, I know where you're getting this from. Women teach all the time, whether they are employed as teachers or not. Who taught you to walk and talk? Probably your mother, right? That whole concept is idiotic on even the most basic level.

If she is lead by the spirit by all means yes
Was the admonition give to a group at one church concerning a problem in that church or for all of Christianity. Without faithful women the church would have had a harder time

A woman should do what her husband thinks is best. i personally hold a leadership position in our church, but i wouldn't have accepted it without my husbands blessing. A woman is part of her husband and should reflect what he desires. Alot of women think that is soooo sexist, but as women we have so much power. Afterall, we choose who we marry in the first place, and if we are wise, we'll marry a man who thinks the same as we do generally. I married a man who supports me in my teaching, 1pt. for me! If a woman is not married, she needs to do what what would honor her father. Would daddy be pround of your teaching? If yes, Go for it!!!
