They arrested a 14 year old today in this high school in our county because he wrote a letter saying that he could kill double the people as the VT guy.....He was he wanted to kill 100 people.. do you think that it is a good idea for media to provide this much coverage that other nut cases who want to be glorified in death start actually proving them selfs?

p.s I think that kid 9th grader was probably just talking big but some other nutters might be thinking the same thing.

This guy chased his wife, rammed her car, shot and killed his wife, shot and killed his 5 year old son and one of his 2 daughters. As a father of a 3 year old boy I cannot fathom the pure evil needed to do such a thing. I think this man should be castrated and allowed to bleed to death. He needs to be permanently removed from society. He should not be allowed to pollute the minds of anyone anywhere including jail. He needs to die and suffer.

I find myself riddled with the Hell question. It is fiery, it's dark, and its, most notably, ETERNAL! At the same time, it is supposedly "fair" for your actions on Earth. I, personally, don't believe that their is an eternal crime, expecially suicide. If someone commited suicide, then they were, to a degree, in Hell already, aren't they?

When the dying Jesus Christ said "Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing,", could that not account for the people lost today? Are we not lost in our own twisted confusion from the Hell that is on Earth?

If I simply say that something is not acceptable to me because of my beliefs, does this equal hatred?

If I say that I believe my religion is the absolute truth, and that according to my beliefs others are not acceptable to follow, is this spreading hatred?

Or is it just sharing what I believe? On a forum intended for that particular purpose?

Someone I know claims he made a promise to God to never, ever drink again yet today he had 2 beers. I always believed that if you make a promise, it is not mean to be broken.
If one makes a promise to God that he or she will not do something, yet falls to temptation and does it, will God punish the person for breaking that promise?

If you want to argue that God and Jesus are one and the same thing, then how do you argue that God is so holy He cannot allow sin to be in His presence? He was in the presence of sin constantly as Jesus.

In Luke an angel tells Mary "...thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son...shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David...The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God" - Luke 1:31-35

The Angel does not say or imply that Mary will give birth to God. But rather, it is clear that Mary is expected to give birth to a "holy thing" made by something called the "Holy Ghost" while God watches.

Matt 1:18 "...she was found with child of the Holy Ghost"
Matt 1:20 "...for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost"

How do you reconcile this 'trinity' with Exodus 20:1-6?

I told Him how much I love Him and how much God loves him and I offered to pray with him...I love my dad, he is my flesh and blood...And all I want is what God wants for him. Please pray for him, and pray for me...I am not giving up on him. I think that persuing my dad is important, but sometimes it brings me to remember when Jesus was talking to His desciples He said, that If people don't accept you or Gods message that you are to shake off your feet and leave those people to themselves, because they are in Gods hands now. And it would have been better if they were never born. Thinking that is hard, my dad isn't a Christian and he has shunned me because I am not in school full time, and it hurts, but through all of the pain God has been ever merciful to me and I've leaned on know one but God and His strength, and am richly blessed as a result. Please pray for me that God will give me the strength and courage to get through the rough times. God bless you.

I wonder can this question be answered. i am not so sure. Life I suppose means many different thing to different people. But what is the real meaning behind it all that is what I am after. Some would say we came about by pure chance but I can not accept that as how can something be created out of nothing. They also theorize on the big bang but I think it is nonsense to as that would suggest a beginning from zero. So theyre actualy trying to suggest that there was a huge void of nothingness for an infinite period and then this nothingness miraculously transformed to hydrogen etc and the whole thing went from there. This can not be as to me it is putting a very simplified slant on the initial spark. I would be very interested in your ideas!

I love Groundhog Day, but I mostly just watch the movie and have my stereo wake my with 'I Got You Babe'?

If you research a medical encyclopedia, you will find that homosexuality is GENETIC!! Yet the Bible calls it a sin. Why would God make a person homosexual and then condemn them for being that way? Could it be that maybe; just maybe, we are wrong again, like when we executed women for exhibiting symptoms of witchcraft that we know today to be epilepsy?

seem to be the ones to quickly assume or judge the eternal fate of others? For instance, I was talking to my mother- in- law yesterday about the VT tragedy. I was reading about how he was obviously mentally unstable. The article that I was reading said that Cho ranted against the rich and Christianity. As soon as I read that out loud, she says, " Well, we know where he's going, 'cause it won't be heaven". I am not as well versed as she is, however, it says in the Bible that we aren't supposed to pass judgement on each other. Yet, making an assumption such she did, doesn't seem to phase anyone. I am a Christian and not afraid to ask these types of questions. So, I pointed that out to her. After that she was quiet and acted as though I had done something wrong. I'm fine with that. Why do people do this as though they have the right?
