Absolutely, yes. There is a very high probability that humanity will not survive the next two to three centuries. After that, it will only take a few thousand years for most traces of human civilization to have disappeared beneath layers of accumulated dust and plant growth. By then, global warming should have either completely levelled off to a setpoint much warmer than present...or it may have even dissipated by then and the world will be back to conditions before industrialization began. In a few hundred thousand, perhaps even a million years, even any radiological evidence of human civilization will no longer be discernible. Evolution will continue during this time. Eventually, another species will achieve self-awareness and higher intelligence... hopefully, they won't use their minds to accomplish their self-destruction as we have.

I dislike saying this but very few are awake, they are blind, they have not been taught by wise teachers. They care little for this Earth, they think there is a new one in the future, pity, and of course some just don't care, they rape the one who has taken care of them, they have grown greedy, why? Again they have not be taught well. Nature is in unity and unless mankind becomes again natural the mother has no choice.

If we look into God's word, we find that God's purpose for the Earth doesn't change. This means that God intends the earth to be like a park or garden with humans living on the Earth to be care-takers of this park known as paradise. Jesus said in Mathew 5 that the meek will inherit the earth and this is repeated in Psalm 37. He also told the evil-doer that asked to be remembered when Jesus reached his kingdom that the evil-doer would be with him in paradise. Jesus also told John in the book of revelation that God will destroy those ruining the earth. The details of what paradise will be like are scattered throughout the bible, but some can be found in the last few chapters of Revelation and in Isaiah. It's worth remembering that God wants his people to live in paradise here on earth and that others will be selected by God himself to be kings (rulers) and priests with Jesus Christ in heaven to govern the Earth as a paradise. I hope you can find the details of Paradise in the bible because they are so beautiful.

Earth isn't a mother. It is a piece of matter compiled of rock, water, magma, nickel, carbon based life forms and a bunch of Hydrogen/Oxygen.

It has no emotion, and if you are going to create a character for Earth, why a mother, why not a pissed off teenager who burns ants and kills small animals. Wouldn't that fit in better with earth's behavior?

I think that one is going to take a while, but yes, I do see it happening. I just believe the true beginning of that happening is going to be very violence while balance is being restored.

Humans are bad for the enviroment, it seems. *wink*
