To be good to others, to try and leave the world better than we found it, and to score as much box as you can before you die.

I wonder too and there is an answer. Better not to have existed, than to just pass the time existing. Let’s examine the spark, it can offer comfort but has the risk of causing pain. What causes the warming flame to burst into a scorching inferno? To understand the flame, we have to understand how it began. It didn’t start from out of nowhere; everything that comes to an end had a beginning! Our existence is dependant on extinguishing the blaze. If you cannot read and understand this, the flame will consume you.

The only thing that consistently gets back into my mind when it comes to life having a purpose it must be this: we live to learn and experience. I have no idea what the even greater purpose is behind that, but it is what we do all day long, every day. always. we never or rarely feel or learn nothing. so if that is the main ingredient, then maybe that has to have the most important meaning. What we learn is a choice or a chance, but the feelings are always the same. that is what intrigues me. even if we were created from a random event in space-time, even then we do feel and learn and experience all kinds of things. It is indeed different for every person. and yet.. are your tears not the same as mine? Is your laughter not the same as mine? so... I believe there has to be a common importance to that in relation to life itself. even animals do have their feelings, though different from ours. keeps a person wondering, doesn't it? the immens scale of the universe for instance... mind boggling..

I read your profile and I don't think that any one specific answer from anyone will unravel all your confusion. Seek Christian fellowship where you are and when you feel a sense of comradity then seek their help and coucil. Be sure you are really born again and not deceiving yourself. Seek God in prayer on that one. Remember it's about God's love not knowledge.

God is Love. He is so full of love that He wanted to create a whole family of people to share it with. He created us for the simple joy of loving us. We in turn spend our lives giving glory to Him and living a life of gratefulness for all the beauty and love He has given us.

As humans, it is up to us to give our lives their own subjective meanings. That is the objective meaning of existence. My meaning is of no importance to your meaning. Do what you want to the extent of not preventing others from doing what they want. There's only one chance at life and we each have to make ours a very unique one. Carpe diem!

To me its simple. We are here to love and to learn. We have life lessons that need to be learned. So pay attention, it may pass you by.
