Colossians 1:15-19
The Supremacy of Christ
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross
Colossians 2:9- For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. John 1:1
[ The Word Became Flesh ] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 10:30- I and the Father are one." --

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected - proving His victory over sin and death.

jesus says he can only speak what the father says. His words are not His own. When God says I am, Christ will say I am. When God says I am alpha and omega, Christ says the same thing. See, He is the "IMAGE" of the invisible God. He reflects God perfectly(like a mirror). they are one but not like your finger one. God and His Christ(the Son od God) are one flesh but two persons manifested in one body. That was God's body and it was Christ's body. it was God's blood and it was Christ's blood. One of them is God and the other is the Son of God, not God the Son. he was a dual being but only one of them was God.
i hope this helps clear up the obscurity blocking the Son light.

Yes, I know Jesus is God.
Many get confused by this, I try and explain by this analogy.

God the Father,
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
Three in one.
Each having a different function.

Just like:

H20
Water - fluid
Steam
Ice
All have different function
but all H20

no matter what most of these people say i know your right i thank God that one day we will not have to put up with all these people who blaspheme and constenly make fun of Jesus and his followers and thank God for people like you who no matter what people say you will speak and write about the Lord Jesus. may God bless you. and those of you who say that God and Jesus are separate u are both right and at the same time you are wrong God the Father Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit the Conforter are three in one they are one but at the same time they are three. it may be confusing but it is the truth.

I'm not sure you're reading the real meaning in all that.... I don't get quite the same interpretation from that.

But that's just me.

Continue your own search for the Truth.

Really then that means he was out of his mind!

Why?

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 10:32 - 33 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

this is just the tip of the iceburg!

And every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

I'd hate to find out on that day that Jesus was indeed God because it'd be too late.

Don't let it be too late.
