For example, by studying water, you can see it shapes itself to whatever vessel it is in. A river can be wide or narrow, and the water doesn't decide that, the surrounding land does. This teaches us to go with the flow, to make the most of our circumstances because we know things will change around the corner no matter what we do to prevent it.

I find that to be true anyway. I've also found when I go with the flow I'm a lot happier and I get what I "want" at about the same rate.

Did he assume that humans, if given the chance, would commit suicide? And so he made the fear of death so intense so that nobody would want to die and would rather give life a second chance. But then if God assumes the first, isn't it basically saying that he thinks life is crappy? You follow?

A United States Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan .One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes."

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-****** him knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.
The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to,noticeably shaken, looked at
the Marine and asked,......

and all have fallen short of the glory of God. Don't you know that the only way to Heaven is thru the blood of Jesus; who died for our sins and that we are saved by grace not our works?

I was pondering about this, because I (as a Pagan) get offended when people tell me I'm going to Hell, and I know Atheists who do as well.

My reasoning for that is I don't want to go to a bad place, even if I don't think it exists. Many of my Atheist friends agree with me on that.

But Atheists... how do they feel about being told they have no soul?

I think a "sin" is when we forget to realize our true place in the universe, as a creature of the Earth, as one with everything else. I think it's when we feel seperate and alone. I don't think I would actually use the word "sin" normally, but to explain my beliefs a little I think it's okay.

Are there any of you that have a less than traditional concept of this word?

Two questions immediately come to mind after evolutionists attempt to explain our world and we who live in it and ask questions about who we are and how we got here. First, who is this “evolution” person who did these things? Point him/her/it out to me.

When pushed, evolutionist would have to admit that no one has ever seen the invisible entity that has been named “evolution.” Is evolution like the Force of Star Wars that “surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together”?

Then there is the question of where does the standard for good and evil come from? This is never explained. The mechanism “whereby life arose from non-living matter and subsequently developed entirely by natural means” evolution) is invisible as is the method to extract meaning from it (reason).

Evolutionists tell us that a belief in the invisible nature of God is a philosophical; however it’s OK to believe in the invisibility of this “evolution” entity that has supposedly created life out of non-l

Think it over. This evangelism angle does get peoples attention. Maybe for religion to be stamped out, we need to evangelize and humanize.
