Did he assume that humans, if given the chance, would commit suicide? And so he made the fear of death so intense so that nobody would want to die and would rather give life a second chance. But then if God assumes the first, isn't it basically saying that he thinks life is crappy? You follow?

I believe a lot of people fear life more as that takes participation. Here is something very cool I read one time that I think you will enjoy.

A PARADOX
Be not concerned about
how long you live
but how well you live.

There is neither a good time
nor a bad time to die;
there is only your time.

Of life, of death,
there is no control;
there is neither yesterday
nor tomorrow.
There is only NOW,

NOW is all there is
and if you live well
NOW is enough.

The one most ready to die
is the one most
willing to live.

"There is a right time for everything, and a right time for every event under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die...a time to weep and a time to laugh...there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy life as long as we live."
Ecclesiastes 3

This question comes across as if you're saying GOD created fear. Well' He didn't. And this is what I mean. Fear is the devil way in control of the human heart. The heart being the mind. The devil is the prince of this world, he's a liar and a deceiver and uses his powers to make humans fear death. If one believes in Jesus, son of GOD and that He died on the cross for our sins, then fear of death doesn't exist. I am not afraid of death because Jesus loves me. Now, I know many people don't believe this but I do. What I do fear is GOD and what he thinks of me and I pray everyday and read the bible so I may seek his approval. Nevertheless, Life is good, death in inevitable but GOD is eternity. But as an example read PS

P.S. A person is hanging 500 feet of a rope and suddenly begins reciting the lords prayer yet this person doesn't believe in GOD. You see, put anyone in a extreme situation
and suddenly GOD appears. By the way, I was the guy on top smiling because when you believe in GOD, fear of death doesn't exist.

If God had to assume the behavior of its creation (the man), then it means God did not know what he has created and how is his creation going to react to their surroundings which as well as humans, are the creations of God.

Basically it is not the fear of death but the love of live which is very very strong. Human beings in general, expect a lot from their lives, they all make enormous efforts in making their lives better and when they get some success they start assuming that everything they want will come to them, easy. Slowly this desire grows stronger the man gets greedier and more ambitious.
But, if something goes wrong at some point, and he starts loosing... or things just don’t fall in place, he cries "God... why is this happening to me?" "Why are you taking my hard earned life away from me?","what have I done?", "why?", "why?" and the man then decides that he should now just end his life...
Just a minute..., why now? Why is he so depressed?
Just because God has taken what God had given to him... this is ridiculous...
You know what God might say? He might say that "You, whom I crated; claimed your faith in me", "You prayed for a better life and I gave it to you", "But when I tested you with a little loss, You want to abandon all what I have blessed you with", "You want to take your life which I gave you" "Go and find a place in the heavens and earth where you can live without my mercy, and wait for the day when I shall send your death to you".

A true believer in God never looses hope. He always tries to follow the guidance which God sends to him through his Scripture, his Prophets and Apostles. Man is not All-knowing and Almighty like God so if a person who believes and follows the teachings of God, he will not fear death and he will also not have overwhelming expectations from life; neither will he end is life in depression and anxiety and become an ungrateful creation of his Mighty, Merciful and Just creator...

Once again, God does not assume, He knows what, when and why is better for us, unlike ourselves.

It was not God's work. The opposite is the correct one. God wants to deliver you from all fear, including the fear of death. Read Hebrews 2:12-14.

God didn't make the fear of death. Death is only to the physical body, the spirit is eternal and never ceases to exist, so what is to fear? People fear the unknown ... this was not given by God. If your reasoning had merit, there wouldn't be so many suicides. Obviously many do not fear death, they embrace it.

First and foremost, God did not make the fear of death powerful, Satan did. A Christian secure in their faith doesn't fear death at all, for Jesus already defeated death at the cross and when he rose again. It is when we die this earthly death that we only begin to really live. What should be feared, and I think God really tries to point this out in the Bible, is to die an earthly death without the blood of Christ to cover you and wash you clean so that you may live for eternity with God. Death itself should not scare you, but what happens after your earthly death should, for that will be your eternity.

When did humans gain the fear of death that you speak of? Adam and Eve did not have it before they ate that forbidden fruit. So, did they get it when they ate the fruit? If so, was it God that gave it to them or ...... as I tend to suspect, was it man's own actions of going against God's directive and rules that brought that fear on man?

God did not make life crappy. Man made life crappy.

I am not afraid of death,I think about how it may happen.I think about my children and how their hearts will get broken. But I look forward to eternity with Jesus, when I recieved him all that fear left me.I want people to celabrate my life here,so when I am dead I hope I will have done things to show the love of God.I hope to make this world better because I was here for however long Gods plan is.But truly I look forward to heaven, because this place gets more like hell daily.

No god made the fear of death powerful. It's a con, invented by man to keep the masses in line. Haven't you figured that out yet?

I don't fear death, in a mental sense anyways. I can logically say that we will all die and there is nothing we can do about it. I can say that it is infantile to fear the inevitable. I can say that thoughts of dying bring joy, yes joy, to me. But, if I was faced with certain death, I bet I'd run screaming like most people.
