Agreed - It was a terrible thing that happened. Respect the dead. Blame the shooter. Theology was not involved. There is no deeper answer or message.

I have been avoiding questions for a while now about Virginia Tech and here you are sneaking one in.
A man killed these people, not god. It has nothing to do with prayer.
And yes you are right, people should have a little respect for the dead and their families at this most tragic time.

Thank you. I made a similar reply to a recent question and got the dreaded thumbs down for it. Enough is enough already. This is about real people being killed in a horrible, violent way, and some here have turned it into a sniping contest over whose beliefs are right and whose are wrong.

Thank you! You think this is bad, it blew up into a huge gun control debate on gaiaonline. I hate it when people use the departed to push their own political/religious agenda...

I think you are right. Its normal for people to want to talk about things like this, but this isnt the proper place. Our feelings are too near the surface. It will only upset people.

I agree with you and commend you for your statement. Only the most insensitive and petty would use a tragedy like this to further a point one way or another.

Thank you. It needs saying. If you can't say something comforting, don't say anything at all.

God isnt responsible for the crap that happens in this world.
He gave Adam one chance, and he scrwed it up. People don't understand that. They think God will "save the weak" and "feed the hungry". That's in God's perfect world, or previous world, before the fall of man. Now, that's heaven.
Stop being retarded and thinking where is God when God has abandoned this Earth except for his followers. He abandoned the non-believers because they FIRST ABANDONED Him. They only want a God when it's convenient, but turn away the instant they see a chance. They're just ignorant, and will burn in a lake of fire, where there will be weeping and nashing of teeth.
