I know there are problems for the church to accept homosexuality and lesbianisms, but are there any problems for gays to accept organised religions?

i know a lot of gay christians trying to bolster their faith even though the church has turned their back on them. and for the people who say that if they were true christians then they wouldn't be gay, please stop repeating the lies that your priest tells you. all of the gay people that i know are some of the nicest caring and giving people i know yet they are still struggling for acceptance.

The Bible teaches against Gays. Sin is created over time. You may disagree, but Christians arent supposed to accept gays. gay is saying, "God you made me wrong, im supposed to be a girl, not a guy!" or the other way around. God made you the way you are. 2 Genders. Male and Female. Dont change what God has given you. And for the concept, God made me Gay, no such thing. If you grow up around something like that, you follow it. God does not make Gays. If he did, it would have been in the beginging. God made Adam and Eve.Not Adam and Steve. I am sorry to be so offensive. But those are my views. Hate the sin. Not the sinners.

You speak of a "church" as if there was but one.

Fact is, some "churches" accept homosexuals and some "churches" reject them.

And when you speak of "religion", bear in mind there -is- more than one. Seems to me at least some ancient Greeks had no problem with homosexuality and were quite devout in their religious beliefs.

The world is a big place, and history long. Try to avoid being too provincial in your thinking.

In the Catholic church, homosexuals are accepted but just not allowed to marry/have sexual relations with their partner (of course). But I suppose many gays believe that the Church is suppressing them by not allowing them to marry, and are hesitant to join a religion. So many just protest.

There are, indeed, gays of every faith. There isn't just one gay "religion," like there isn't just one straight religion. And to just make a point: in the New Testament, Jesus doesn't say anything about homosexuality and He doesn't condemn it or homosexuals. Jesus' message was one of love and tolerance and people who use Christianity to condemn gay people are the ones who truly are NOT Christians.

I am convinced that there are Gays in every part of religion. There are certain religions that kill them, So I think that you'll find less there. Like Islam.

I can guarantee you one thing, it isn't Christian. If they were Christian, and following Christ, they would not be gay.
