Call the police. It seems there is allot of that going on. You have the right to say what you think. That is a Federal offense, I would pursue it. This kind of thing has to stop.
You are not endangering peoples souls, everyone has a choice to except or reject Christ. If you choose not to you are only endangering your own soul, not anyone else's.
Jesus is Lord.

That's the reason my email is now closed. I got tired of the threats and the hate mail. I'm sorry you've gotten this kind of treatment. . .it's completely out of line.
Let the authorities deal with it, and try not to let it bother you too much. People like that are usually all mouth and not much action.

No, I have not. I have never received anything that I would call "hate mail." I have received some email from people who disagree, or try to teach me their version of the truth, but it was not done in a hateful way.
I'm sorry that you have received a threat. I'm glad you are reporting it, and I hope it gets taken care of.

No. But someone from this forum went on a tangent once just because she didn't like my response to her question. To each their own. Thankfully, most people are very polite and I enjoy the interaction.

I've received threats in that same kind of vein before. It's nothing to ever worry about. Even if they had my address, I wouldn't loose sleep over the Christian death cultists who fear my sharp tongue or quietly console themselves that I am 'Damned' for not submitting to their extremist beliefs. There are some who I would worry about a threat from, but not Fundies. They too white and fat to make me worry much.

Definitely forward any threatening e-mails to the boys in blue. Technically, if somebody merely threatens to harm you, they're committing assault (battery is when they actually hit you).

I received an email from a person claiming to be a bishop but he wasn't strong enough in his faith to accept an email back, which makes me think postuering like gorillas proves evolution, not trust in God.

I got a few e-mails from some wacko! Each was progressively more irate and unintelligible. I think he lost his account because I haven't herd from him in a long time.
