And what is your definition of "true" religion? I believe in God with all my heart! But sometimes I think its very easy to be mislead by others who claim to have authority. I have been a victim of false accusations and once a man claimed that I was demon possesed!!! So, I said "Okay!" mabe hes right! Mabe I am possesed by an evil spirit. It turns out however, that it was not the case! I had alot of emotional problems because of everthing that I went through in the past. But to this day; this man has not appologized or even tried to talk to me about what happened. He can't even look me in the eye! They say that Christians are human like everyone else. The problem is: We are to be able to conquer our human nature through the power of God. I'm so sick of the "Human Nature" excuse. As if a Christian could commit murder and everything is just fine and dandy because he is "HUMAN" Hey! We all make mistakes right? Let me go kill someone I hate! I can always repent later! Its rediculous!

PST - MARK & AVOID them which cause DIVISIONs:
For the New F5 "LAW WORKETH WRATH" Harvestor,
can cut a mile wide SWATH, 20 miles LONG, in seconds.

FOOLISH to add "law worketh wrath" to "grace is sufficient"?
FOOLISH to add sacrifice to I will have mercy, not sacrifice?

It took Christians 1400 years to realize that killing, torture and forced conversions are wrong, how much longer do we have to wait before they understand tolerance completely?

And do we have to wait as long years for Muslims to get the message?

"And surely in the cattle, there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of what is inside their bodies, from between digested food and blood, pure milk, pleasant to those who drink it (Koran 16:6)."
It should be kept in mind that a Muslim scientist formally discovered the circulation of blood 600 years after Muhammed's death and it was made known to the west by William Harvey, 1000 years after Muhammed had died. If Muhammed was the author of the Koran how would he have known, at the time that he lived that digested food is transported via blood and then becomes the constituent of milk secreted by the mammary glands?

"Have we not expanded the earth and made the mountains as tent pegs" (Koran 78:6-7)
" We have cast into the earth anchors lest it shake with you" (Koran 31:10)
The Koran states that mountains have a root extending down into the earth like "anchors" and this gives stability and balance to the earth.
This fact was only discovered 150 years ago by scientists.

When God said "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast; and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I had made them" in Genesis 6...
You may think he did not threaten the sea creatures cause he knew he couldn't drown them...
Question: How many of you understand that the real reason was because he loved his sea creatures?

He may have hated man, he may have hated the animals, he may have hated the creeping things, he may have hated the birds BUT THE SEA CREATURES HE LOVED.

I will thank all you Bible people to stop saying he didn't threated them cause he knew he couldn't drown them -- that is an outrage.

Then he met Noah and the rest is history.

I hate God right now is because I feel like he overlooked me in every area of my life. recently, i got involved in a relationship with this person I really like. The thing is that they like someone with a bigger penis. To my dismay, I blamed God because he gave me a smaller one. Not only that, I gave me other things other people don't want like bad looks and a lot of bad skills when doing things or playing sports. So now, I have to deal with stuff I shouldn't have to deal with. All I got going for me is being nice, a good job, and the risk of being used or rejected. How do u serve a God who have overlooked you? Why did he put me here if I don't have anything to offer? I'm always the one looking to be wanted or needed and I hate that. I wish I wasn't here. I wanna be love, but what I got ain't enough for anybody to stay with me.

He can see all of the past and the future. He can see a future time when you perform action A. Therefore, you cannot choose not to perform action A. It is already done from a non-temporal view.

If she was a human, how can a human be mother of God?!

If she was a god, why isn't she added to the Trinity?!

If she was none of above, who was she?!

Mary/Maryam, peace be upon her, is very important in Christian teaching, as she's the mother of Jesus, who's 'Son of God', according to the same teaching. Why is there no chapter in the Bible which is called Mary?

Evolution is the change in allele frequency in a population over time.

This is the definition in biology 101 textbooks, was covered on day one of my son's 9th grade bio class and is even the definition in the wikipedia article.

Antisecularists (those opposed to secular science, culture and governments) say evolution means other stuff than change in allele frequency over time.

Since an alternative definition of evolution is not found in the bibles or bio textbooks, where do these antisecularists get the definition of evolution they so often complain about here?

Several times I have seen religious antisecularists complain that when their evolution questions are answered, people say "you know nothing about evolution," and don't explain more. It seems to me many religious antisecularists are using a definition inaccessible to the rest of us, and it is that definition, as opposed to the biological one, that people refer to when they say they know nothing.

I would like to make a "Care Box" to keep in my car to give to homeless people that I see on the side of the roads, and in parking lots. I would like for it to contain a couple of meals that need no preparation, a bottle of water, and some other items that would be of benefit. What would you suggest putting in such a kit?

Would you be willing to pick people from other beliefs? I myself have seen some really interesting posts from the many Muslims, especially the women, that are condemning terrorism. I also think Suzanne is interesting though i do not always agree with her i do believe she is sincere.

From what I gather church is a place where believers come together to worship God. But when someone like a preacher or another person in the church does evil to someone, I have always been told to ignore it and focus on God. Why are these people's actions to be totally ignored? Are we supposed to walk around like robots? No feelings or no emotion? I believe that when someone committs an evil deed against someone else in the church, the problem should be addressed! AND ADDRESSED NOW!!! You can't just do absolutely nothing and allow these types of people to destroy the lives of others. I do not believe for one second that a man of God, Deacon or anyone else has the authority to destroy the lives of others. In fact they should be kicked out of the church! I don't care what their so called "authority" in the church may be. I'm not a fan of slander, backbiting, or any form of evil speaking. A liar should not be telling me what to do and how to make heaven.
