Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

If there is no meaning or purpose, then why are we alive? I believe that we are destined to be here for some reason or other. What it is I do not know, but I have a feeling it is individualistic, and also circumstantial.People become leaders, professors, models, football players etc.I don't think that is just chance that people become what they become. Call me a romantic, but I believe everyone will find there way sooner or later. I think in your case you just need to keep looking, trying new things and also perhaps just love life for what it is. A wonderful gift with infinite potential to do whatever you want

You think you have to believe in a deity for a persons life to have meaning or purpose? Life is exactly what you make it out to be.. you don't get handed a blueprint at birth. I make the purpose of my life - it may not be known always beforehand but I do love the adventure of finding out as I go along. Even though I do not believe in any afterlife my life has a lot of purpose.

We all have a purpose on the God-created earth.
We all need to let God take control of the steering wheel and drive us on the road, otherwise we will end up in the ditch and not at the desired destination!
Proverbs 16:9
'People may make plans in their minds, but the Lord decides what they do.'
This is, as long, you are willing and ready to give your life to God so he can let the purpose he has planned for you be fulfilled.

The point is you are born with a purpose and that purpose is for you to make a meaning for your existence. You choose the road to take on the journey through life and you create your own destiny. God is only there to bless you if you are doing it on the right path. Do not try to accomplish things in the wicked ways , for He will not be there when you need Him. Of course His adversary will aid you but just remember, what goes around, comes around. So, take care make a purpose and meaning in your life.

Pink Princess. I am an atheist. This does not mean I am a bad person. I just believe there are no gods. I see and enjoy the beauty of nature just like most people.
And if I choose to give $100 to some needy person, it is not because I expect some later reward in heaven.

Is there some reason you feel there isn't any meaning or
purpose?
Why do people think there needs to be meaning or purpose?
Why does there have to be a point? Is there a "point" of
living for the mosquito in my bathroom?

Even if there is no meaning or purpose, the music of life is playing, so you might as well dance.
It's either that or be a wallflower.
Participate in life.
If you do that you'll FIND meaning and pupose.
Peace out.
