When God said "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast; and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I had made them" in Genesis 6...
You may think he did not threaten the sea creatures cause he knew he couldn't drown them...
Question: How many of you understand that the real reason was because he loved his sea creatures?

He may have hated man, he may have hated the animals, he may have hated the creeping things, he may have hated the birds BUT THE SEA CREATURES HE LOVED.

I will thank all you Bible people to stop saying he didn't threated them cause he knew he couldn't drown them -- that is an outrage.

Then he met Noah and the rest is history.

As a psychiatric nurse for 20 years and a Christian, I find your question troubling. Did a religious person hurt you in your past? If so, then I want to apologise for them. They should not have done what ever they did to you.

Most Christians are good people as are most non-Christians. why do so many people ask questions in this category that are only meant to demean believers. I do not demean non-believers. my theory is live and let live and never hurt anyone. If someone is a Muslim, a Catholic, a Jew, a Buddhist, whatever, I won't put them down. Why can't we all be more tolerant?

Did you really read Genesis? I like Psalms the best. Have you read them? Here is a quote I read once from Buddha:

"The wise are those who control their body
who control their tongue
who control their mind"

I hope you have a wonderful and happy life full of abundance,

Many sea creatures DID die during the Flood. The waters were very violent; the "fountains of the deep" broke open, which were vast subterranean water chambers, which burst open at the locations of the trenches throughout all the oceans. This super-hot water came bursting up, and killed millions of fish and sea mammals. In fact, the most common fossil in the world are clams found in the closed position, meaning they were buried alive, suddenly. A baleen whale was found buried standing on its tail in hundreds of feet of diatoms. Fish were buried in the process of eating other fish. Because the turbulence of the waters was not worldwide simultaneously, there were some quiet areas of the oceans where sea life survived.

God didn't hate man,He hated the sin that they were committing, and there is nothing in the word about God loving fish. Jesus cooked up some for His deciples. Don't make another "religeon" about a fish loving God, unless your talking about grilled salmon

God met Noah and they sat around talking and had a few drinks, and they talked about the feasibility of a flood, etc.

Noah had just one question: "When the flood is over and we get out of our ark, and wish to repopulate the earth, won't there be a lot of incest going on?"

This made God angry, and Noah quickly changed the subject; and never broached it again.
