I think that we should all believe what makes sense to us. The bible makes no sense to me and is completely opposite from how a God who is divine would act.

Why would He demand complete adoration? Why would He create a place called hell to send the souls that He created because we are not perfect? He knows we are not perfect and we never will be. He knows this because He created us.

Ignore the bible, the original sin stuff, and any illogical dogma because God gave us common sense, didn't He!

I know for many of you common sense means no God and that is what makes sense to you. I don't believe that God cares if you believe or not.,

Doesn't the Bible say, "when you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me"

If you kill Bambi, by sighting it in a semi-automatic weapon simply to get your jollies...isn't this hurting an innocent creature created by God?

I believe God does provide animals, etc...for our nourishment...however, simply for sport seems wrong. Your opinions?

If you read this, please say a prayer for my grandfather. He has an anurism in his abdomen that is like a ticking time bomb. It is only a matter of time until a very risky operation is necessary. The doctors have also noticed a suspicious growth on his left lung that they believe to be cancerous. Thank you. God bless you.

I was just at a Baptist funeral. The service was similar to what I'm used to. The minister told a story I remember learning as a kid, but he made it A LOT more interesting. I hope I dont sound dumb, but what is the differences? There was no kneeling at this service, that was nice, but they read the same bible passages, sang songs. Just like to know, thanks.

I'm sick and tired of reading ignorant and thoughtless blogs about muslims and Islam. Find me a religion that has never fought in a war in its name. Find me a religion that doesn't have followers that branch out and create "terrorist groups. Using religion to fuel their own agendas. Find me a religion more disciplined than that of Islam. We all need to wake up! People are people. Good and bad. Muslim and Christian. Black and white. Stop grouping people based of the actions of a few. Throughout history we have made this same mistake over and over again. When will it stop? Life is too short. We all have our faults and none of us are worthy enough to judge the next man. ma' assalama

Do you assume that they are specifically refering to your personal god, or can you accept that atheists believe that ALL gods are equally invalid?

If you think that only your god matters, do you think that people of other religions are just as godless as Atheists?

If you accept that Atheist claim ALL GODS are equally invalid, do you accept that there are other concepts of god just as valid as yours?

yet your "God" your "Savior" your "Lord" with ultimate power and infinite kindness can't help dose who he loves so much
well that either means God doesn't exist or his cruel and likes to see people in suffering

Or do some baptist believe it and some do not. Growing up my family were baptist but they did not believe in the trinity. My gramma was a sunday school teacher and she believes God is the father and Jesus was created

The original Iamacatholic2 has never asked questions. He only answers and his answers are straight as an arrow on Catholic teaching. He does not get insulting.
The clone ask insulting questions and gives insulting answers. He uses the same Avatar as the original.
However, when the original answers, he has Top Contributor under his avatar.
Unfortunately Yahoo questions and answers is not set up to stop a person from using someone else's i.d. like a signon to a web program.

I mean a lot of people answeed my question but said they couldnt abide living in heaven with murderers and child rapists. But these people are in my opinion wrong as the whole point of Jesus coming was FOR SINNERS and that must include all the worst in society. So to say otherwise is not only contradicting Jesus but in my opinion very judgemental for a christian. Remember" let him who is without sin cast the first stone". People can be so cruel and non loving that it really disturbs me.

...but we and our world only came up as an accident, a side-effect to his real creation (which would be some other beings, maybe in some other universe)?

What if after death we do go somewhere, but we find there a God who takes absolutely no notice of us - any more that he would take notice of an ant?
