Yes you would, and you may be asked to sign a contract for a billion years. If you get far enough within Scientology, not this may be a bad thing but it certainly puts perspective of what Scientologists believe, and the obligation that you must make to them, to become an advocate and a follower.

Don't Do It!!
RUN!! Run Away Fast!!!
It is a cult!!!, my mom was involved in it for a few yrs.,
when I was a kid. 1 of our fam., friends got into it thru my mom, and nowadays, she(my mom) apoligizes to her every chance she gets. When I was 12 I signed a contract w/ them, to obligate myself to them for 1 million yrs.,they believe in more then 1 life.
NOT, what Jesus teaches
And U do have to have alot of $$$ to pay for ur classes, auditing.(unless ur fam., is in it, they'll do ya for free).
Think about this for a moment: What organization (in there right minds) would allow a minor to enter into a contract.
The courts don't. It's not legal.
In ur search for truth, answers to / in life, trust ur parents!
Even if they r mistaken in their beliefs (whatever they may be),
they love U, and would NOT guide u in a wrong direction ON PURPOSE, they Love U.
Scntlgy., Does brain-wash u; not even like the Military, also does, BUT, also, builds ya back up,turn u into a killer(infantry), a solider; follow orders, No Q's asked. It 'can' bring out the valor of a man. And u get paid.
My earthly Father, husband & son, & 1 brother all served.
Scientology does not empower anyone. In anyway.
I was in the Sea Org, in L.A. Calif.,U.S.A.
I fell off the back of that Scientology sign,
@ the top of that 8 story bldg.,in Hollywood;
I lived in that bldg.
I'm not dead cuz my leg got caught; (I was dangling) so I didn't hit the ground.I had 1 friend up there w/ me, so I do have a witness. I only say 'this, about me', 2 assure U; I know whay I'm saying about Scientology.
Drink life-giving water.
Jesus offers it free.
u see what Zer0; just above wrote, all true.
Danjo, so right & so funny, I'm laughing.

Why??? If you have a church/synagogue your family attends, learn about your own faith first...then, if you still feel Scientology would be the way to go...make lots of money, be ready to give a bunch of it to the Scientologist so you can join the club...or make friends with the likes of Tom Cruise...good luck!

Scientology is a religion. religion is manmade ways to get to God and figure him out. God doesnt care for religions because none of them are correct. Gods perfect way, truth, and life is a spiritual relationship with his son Jesus and learning his word the bible growing in faith trust and love for God his son and recieving their Holy Spirit. Yes you could join Scientology but that wont lead to eternal life. Jesus is what you really should be learning about.

At 14 I would think you are a prime candidate for a ridiculous fabrication of a spiritual orientation. Your mind is young and very impressionable, just the way they like them. I believe they have this thing called a "mind audit" (even sounds appealing doesn't it?) I believe it's actually a financial audit but it sounds much better when they say they are taking an inventory of your assets through your mind and not your body (I usually use a variation of this line when I try to pick up rich women at the produce section of the local grocery store). Of course you have to pay an exuberant amount of money to pay for this audit (which completes the purpose for the audit in the first place) or you can work it off by doing menial labor for the facilities they have (kinda like an indentured servant) then of course you can pay for lessons to become an auditor yourself so you too can audit others, but they encourage you to do it for free to your friends and family members (free means if they convert you recruit them by way of financial obligation because you gave them a very expensive audit for free) so they can have more indentured servants. Of course if you are already rich then you can buy your way out of servitude and become eligible to shed your physical shell which is the body that you are hosting and someday return to the collective originally established by the Alien overlord. Resistance is futile we are Borg....oh wait sorry wrong overlord.

To join Scientologists worldwide in prayer, one must jump off a high building into a busy road full of traffic.
And mabye be run over by a Challenger 2 whilst they are at it. That always helps.

I think you should read up on Lisa McPherson, explains as to why people now have to sign a liability form, and it should bring some interesting information. Become informed, retain your individuality, never lose your ability to think for your self.

Don't do it! I urge you in the strongest possible terms, DO NOT join Scientology. It is a dangerous, destructive cult and is responsible for many atrocities in the past:
• Operation Snow White – Under this official program, Scientology operatives committed infiltration, wiretapping, & theft of documents in government offices. This program constituted the single largest infiltration of the United States government in history. Among the 11 prominent Scientologists convicted of this conspiracy was Mary Sue Hubbard, the wife of Scientology’s “prophet”.

http://en.allexperts.com/e/o/op/operation_snow_white.htm
• Operation Freakout - Their campaign of sabotage & violence against Paulette Cooper, the writer who published her research & findings on several cults, including Scientology. Scientology’s official plan: to frame Paulette, ruin her career & reputation & get her either incarcerated or locked up in psychiatric confinement.
The official plan: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Krasel/cooper/frk1.html
PDF of her book: http://holysmoke.org/cos/books/scandal-of-scientology-cooper.pdf
• Fair Game - the Scientology policy detailing how the organization may confront & handle critics & perceived enemies. Here is a direct quote: "Enemies may be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.”
http://www.xenu.net/archive/disk/fairgame.htm
http://www.planetkc.com/sloth/sci/Fair_game_ord.html
• Physical & psychological punishment: Scientologists who "break the rules" while members of the "Sea Org" must subject themselves to the Rehabilitation Project Force (RPF), which includes regimes of harsh physical punishment, forced self-confessions, social isolation, hard labor and intensive ideological indoctrination.

http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/cos/rpf/escape_2.htm
• Brainwashing & mind control: Scientology exerts control over its members by means of typical cult tactics, including but not limited to controlling information about internal doctrine & criticism of the organization, severely restricting social contact outside the cult, creating an “us against them” mentality by villanizing a specific out-group (for Scientology, it’s psychiatrists), & claiming all those outside the cult are unenlightened.

• Violent Kidnapping - Lisa McPherson was a Scientologist, was involved in a car accident & resultantly became mentally unstable. She was kidnapped from the hospital by agents of Scientology, held against her will, refused proper psychiatric treatment & allowed to STARVE TO DEATH.

• Tragic Murder - A CBS “48 Hours” special on Jeremy Perkins, the mentally disturbed son of Scientologist parents who, because of the Scientology doctrine of psychiatry, refused to put him on the anti-psychotic drugs that would have stabilized him & prevented him from killing his own mother.

Sure, as long as you have plenty of money. Scientology is not a real religion. It's doctrine is "Do what feels good to you".
