I mean a lot of people answeed my question but said they couldnt abide living in heaven with murderers and child rapists. But these people are in my opinion wrong as the whole point of Jesus coming was FOR SINNERS and that must include all the worst in society. So to say otherwise is not only contradicting Jesus but in my opinion very judgemental for a christian. Remember" let him who is without sin cast the first stone". People can be so cruel and non loving that it really disturbs me.

Hey, I love how you think. Also, none of us should be judging one another. I know it's wrong, and when I find myself judging others I feel so guilty and hypocritical, it's just upsetting. I hope I can change people who think like that- like sinners have no place with them-the "righteous".

Only "unrepentant" murderers will not be in Heaven. I'm pretty sure Paul, David, and Moses will be there.
And what, are they afraid they will have a relapse?
When someone, even a murderer, is repentant, it means they are sorry for what they did and want to be forgiven. I don't think the others have anything more to fear from them in Heaven. All they need to do is remember what vile sinners they were before they themselves were saved, and stop being hypocrites.

You're right......I don't know which "people" you've been talking to, but they must not've been "Christians" who were once sinful at some time or another. God forgives us for out sins, whether large or small. These people need to know that there are no little i's and big u's. To God a liar is just as sinful as a rapist. We have to repent for our sins DAILY. I may not have killed anybody, but I have pride. God looks at both the same way......he hates them. And until we go to God and say "I am SO hurtfully sorry for what I did, please forgive me", we WONT go to heaven. But if we are sincerely sorry for what we've done, He will restore us and we can go to heaven.

That's the catch: We have to repent and be truly sorry for our sins in order to go to heaven.....and our sins will be forgotten by God. People my not forget or forgive, but the most important thing is...that GOD FORGAVE AND FORGOT.

In heaven they won't be murderers or child rapists anymore. Why, you ask?

In order to enter into heaven, you must accept Christ as your personal Savior, repent of your sinful ways, and follow his direction. Even if someone did murder or rape someone before coming to Christ, His forgiveness, love and mercy work towards changing that person once they accept him.
Murderers, rapists, and any other sinner can enter into heaven.
God views all our sins as equal. They are each disgusting to him.
Have you ever lied? You're a sinner.
Have you ever taken something that doesn' belong to you? You're a sinner.
All of us sin and fall short of the glory of God. That's why we need Jesus.
Yes, I agree that many Christians can be judgemental. Here again, we are all sinners. Forgive them as you would like your Father to forgive you. Be an example to them.

May the peace of God be with you.

this question should really be..."why are people saying sinners (of any kind) can't get into heaven? According to God's own word, The Bible...They, we, can't. We must confess and turn away from...yes...but only because of Jesus, God's sacrifice do we have any hope...and only if one believes in this hope...in him..acknowledges him and seeks to sincerely follow him...God is the only one who knows our heart...and what is truly in it. If one says "lord, lord!" acknowledging him only to spare oneself from hell...God will know. If one, while dying...truly is remorse full for the pain they have inflicted on God and truly seek his face and forgiveness..they will be with Him in Heaven. Whether our sin is lying, adultery, murder, homosexuality, or any other...it makes no difference....the difference is in the heart of the sinner. By the way...just believing in Christ is not enough...Satan believes in him too...and look where it's gotten him! We can truly never know another's heart or whether they are right with God at the time of their death. We can only know about the condition of our own hearts.

Jesus died for whosoever will. That is to say who ever calls upon the name of Jesus shall be saved. Christ died for all. Sin is not catogorized by God. Sin is sin, Where you get into catagories is with the rewards part of heaven. Salvation is for everyone, but there is only one way to salvation and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way the truth and the life. Noone goes to the father accept through him...

Read and study your Bible for yourself, dont take mans word for it. Man and Religion will send you to Hell, Baptisim wont save you, being a member of a church wont save you, and certainly not good deeds. Salvation is the belief that Christ came died and rose again for you and me and will one day return for us. You must repent (turn from your sin and put your trust in Christ) and confess your sins to be saved .... Romans 10:9 ( if i recall correctly)

Also remember this God doesnt save the body, he save the soul. Man cannot live a sinless life, the body goes to the dust of the earth. However we should strive to be Christ like everyday hence the word Christian.

hope this helps
God's richest blessings upon you

According to the book, the only unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. The sacrifice Jesus made on the cross is, was and always will be ENOUGH to pay for our sins. Even murderers and child rapists...

Right. The reason Jesus came her was for sinners and to forgive us of our sins. People who have done very bad things in their life can get into heaven because of Jesus. Only if they give their whole hearts to God though.

Simply put: It doesn't matter what a person does in real life. Saint or serial pedophile, all you have to do is kiss God's ring and stroke his ego and you're in. All is forgiven.

On the other hand, no matter how good a life you might live or how good a person you are, if you don't do the above you're sent to the same place as unrepatant murderers and worse.

Some system of justice you guys got there: Driven entirely on ego and obedience.

They way most Christian churches preach If you ask Jesus to forgive you, you are totally sincere in your heart and mind, you turn a new leaf and don't repeat the transgression then you will go to heaven. Coarse that doesn't help me because I don't want to sing forever and ever.
