are taught to think. Why do they not think logically about the bible? Why does the way you think have to change when you discuss the bible. Im fairly sure that if somebody told you that your car just jumped over your house you would use logic and know they are joking. Why not use logic when it comes to the bible.

... that some people are looking at the shootings in Virginia and saying "That's what they get for taking forced prayer out of schools!"

I never knew the argument was about forced prayer in college anyway, I thought it was about forcing public school kids to pray.

Why do we reject god's infinite mercy, don't you see what is happening all around you? Don't you think that more than never we need to pray for God's mercy? We must rmember that Jesus is love and His mercy is infinite, so we can turn to him with trust, with absolute TRUSt in Him who offered himself up for the sins of the world.

See what just happened, right after the feast of divine mercy, 33 dead in amasacre. See what is going on, when are we gonna wake up, untill when are we gonna prefer to wallow in the mire of our own despice for the sacred, for life, for God and fellow man?

My God, My Jesus, I trust in you, I want to be on your corner in these tracherous times, if anybody can see this, please pray, in any way you want but pray. PRAY and trust in Jesus. We need HIM more than ever!

This Question is open for all... be nice.

This is just my perspective of deep thought that I feel makes sense to me. I am just wondering if it makes sense to others if they know anything about Ghost or Atheist.

I mean no wrong doing here, just asking a question that's been on my mind.

Most Ghost don't know they are dead, ghost refuse to transcend to the spirit dimension, they are as alive and real as we are. Because they are stubbornly clinging to this dimension after death.
Ghost are afraid of the light that takes them to heaven, because of being negative in life, perhaps these are the atheist that were negative in faith of God. The light that sucks you into heaven is positive, therefore negative won't go near to it.
Do you see the connection I am making here?

Keep the ~PEACE~ in R&S thanks!

So many of us continue to do things the hard way. As I lead or manage project leaders and colleagues , I've discovered that many do not learn how to take advantage of the advances in technology that place an interesting ammount of excellent information and know-how at our finger-tip.

Because we don't take advantage of the shortcuts that are available, we wind up wasting a lot of time and effort.

Why cant everyone who is in the rat chace either at climbing the corporate ladder or even as a student never make it a habit to spend time each week discovering new and excellent sources of superb information that will maximize one's effectiveness.

One example ( just one ) : there are excellent quotes by the best of the best of the best who have tried , experienced and triumphed to discover the "formula" or "secret recipe" for a guaranteed success in the form of "wisdom codes" or "QUOTES" that if followed can never fail. ( statistics shows only 5 out of 100 people do apply

Historians agree the Bible did indeed come from Jesus' time, but there is no proof that the Bible was not a book of fables, which I think it was. Jesus existed, but he was just a carpenter who like many other people in his time, claimed they could talk to God. He couldn't perform any miracles, and there was no proof he could. Why were there so many prophets back then and not now, if the Bible was true? It seems like a bunch of average ancient myths to me. No proof. I need proof, not hope?

Are people so incredibly rude when it comes to religion?

What makes the warring (not all) atheists and christians on this site think that they are SO MUCH SMARTER than the rest of the world, smart enough to act like uncivilized brutes?

Intellectuals debate and make converstation; idiots throw dirty insults and act stupid in the process

and just FYI to the ppl on this site who have attitude problems and love going on about how right they are and how stupid everyone else is, you have to kinda be SMART to be a smartass. just a little reminder.

Someone on another question said that Jesus felt the pain of all the sins of the world. past, present, and future.

I know the bible says he supposedly died for our sins, but does it actually say that he felt extra physical pain apart from the pain of the cross, etc...?

Just curious.

In the scripture of Adam and Eve (specifically Genesis 3:1-11), there is a single question asked by God Himself that is scripturally unanswered. It is this one question that has been consuming my mind for the past several months because I believe it is at the root of most biblical understanding.

While I believe I have found the answer, it seems to contradict many popular beliefs. This means I could be flat out wrong.

That is why I have turned to you for some fresh perspectives.

God's unanswered question is this, "Who told you that you were naked?" (Genesis 3:11)

1) Who told Adam and Eve they were naked?

2) Is naked evil?

3) Are we damned to hell every time we bathe?

4) What exactly was (is?) the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Thank you.

God bless!

The premise is humility, which is lacking in religious people and atheists. God wants your heart, not lip service.

Let me spell it out:

Truth is infinite.
Man is finite.

Pride tells man that he can wholly know the truth, therefore pride is a lie. It's the root of all lies.

Humility tells man that he cannot wholly know the truth, but only experience it. Truth is humility. Without humility, everything you do is in vain.
