i would like to ask everyone to pray for the students @ virginia tech and their families. if you dont know why...there was a shooting there today. 33 dead (including the shooter) was the last count i heard. only one shooter. please pray for these ppl

and also pray for the shooter, as hard as you may feel that it is, he died and is going to be judged, and i just hope and pray that in maybe his last dying breath his thoughts and words were, "JESUS I NEED YOU AND ACCEPT YOU"

Can you explain why praying should do anything?? Should God have just prevented the whole mess in the first place? Its a little late to pray, if you ask me....
I dont get this. The Christian God is alleged to step in and perform miracles all the time. Why doesnt he prevent this type of thing from happening?

Yes of course I will keep praying My husband and I prayed for this a while ago. Please pray for the families and for these people to be ministered, encouraged and comforted in the Lord. I am truly sorry for everyones loss.

Once again, if your god exists, he let that happen. So praying to him would only make him think you're not happy with his plan, right? Shouldn't he smite people for that?
Oh yeah, he doesn't smite people anymore. Or do much of anything, really.
