On Saturday, April 14th, America lost one of it's most beloved sons, Mr. Don Ho. Mr. Ho died of heart complications that he has been battling since August of 2005.

I saw his show in Hawaii in '76. Great show. Great man.

I don't really know what to say... My Papa didn't really do anything I could be proud of. He went into a coma before he died. I shed unbelievable tears, not because he was dying, but because he couldn't hear the fear, the abuse, and the heartache he had inflicted on me as a child/teenager. Years later...I'm still not free of him, and I doubt I will ever be. I'm not even sure even if I have anything to thank him for? I would also like to Salute Your Dad, Lapiz...x

One of the first times I got drunk was on champagne at my brother's wedding...my cousin and I were singing Tiny Bubbles...I liked Don Ho even if he was before my time...RIP.
