The messiah that some Jews are nevertheless waiting for isn't contained in the Bible. Jehovah God in no way suggested He ought to come as a warlord and kill for the Jewish us of a and rule like a warlord and stay with the Jewish us of a as a warlord-king.

They primarily have the expectation that the Messiah will restore Israel back to full strength and glory and will show them an unprecedented time of prosperity and spiritual enrichment never before equalled in their history.
The disciples thought that much as well and were hoping to be the wisemen in his court. (Part of the reason they talked about who was the greatest) They werent just doing it out of pride, they were contemplating who realistically would have what position in the new Israel. Jesus however had to reprogram those earthly notions with a spiritual Gospel instead. Israel has been restored to unprecedented glory in the spiritual realm, not the physical. And it has gone out into the world and even gave salvation to the gentiles.

The Jews waited for the militaristic Messiah who would subdue all their enemies, these days they wait for a Messiah who will restore Israel to the dominant nation of the world and put all other nations under their feet.

The Jews will accept the Anti-Christ as their Messiah and he will rebuild their temple. But later they will be converted to Christ Jesus by the preaching of Elijah and Enoch.

Why Jesus was not the Messiah

or to cut is short Jesus did not do this
Ezekiel Chapter 37 verses 24-28:
And David my servant shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. they shall also follow My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers have dwelt and they shall dwell there, they and their children, and their children's children forever; and my servant David shall be their prince forever. Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them, it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, which I will give them; and I will multiply them and I will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore. And my tabernacle shall be with them: and I will be their G-d and they will be my people. Then the nations shall know that I am the L-rd who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary will be in the midst of them forevermore.

The only "characteristic" required is great leadership ability. He will be our leader, "annointed king (human)," when there is peace on earth.
"...they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore." (Isaiah 2:4)
