The Baptist Faith and Message which outlines the belief of the Southern Baptist Denomination, says specifically that yes, to be Southern Baptist, you would believe in the Trinity.

All of the Baptists denominations i know about believe in the Trinity. There may be individual people or churches who are don't understand the Trinity and thus doubt or reject the idea. But the Baptist Faith and Message of the Southern Baptists and the doctrinal statements by other Baptist denominations all believe in the concept of the Trinity.
That
the Father is God.
The Son is God.
The Holy Spirit is God.
There is One God.

I'm sure there are a few splinter Baptist groups that are non-trinitarian but the vast majority of Baptists are trinitarians. However, most Baptist would consider believing in the Trinity as an essential to not only being a Baptist but a Christian as well.

As a Catholic I believed that all Baptists held that the doctrine of the Trinity to be true and I am surprised at what you say, it seems that your gramma adopted the false teachings of `Arianism`
Arius was a Bishop who taught that the Father and the Son did not exist together but that Christ was created by the Father although He too was divine.
This heresy was finally settled by the council of Nicea which foemulated the `Nicene Creed`

Yes; The trinity is an essential part of the Baptist doctrine. You can't be a Baptist, without believing in the trinity.

When I attend church I attend a Conservative Baptist church. The church has no authority to tell a member what they are to believe. The Church, however, is taught by Her lord through His word. To be a Baptist means nothing to be a member of the Church (that's the body of Christ) mean everything. To belong you must hold faith in Him.

The Father is God he is all the God that there is. The Son (Jesus) is God He is all the God there is. The Holy Spirit is God and again all the God that there is. This is best understood by the mortal mind by looking at Creation. God has reveled Himself to us there as well as in the Bible.

The dimension of space are height, width and breadth. Each of these dimensions is infinite and by that definition each contains all space. Yet these dimension make up one space.

God is like that each is God all the God that can be because He is infinite yet these three are the One true God... You can call this doctrine Trinitarian if you wish.. I call it Biblical.. Jim

According to Baptist doctrine, Yes. We, as Baptist, believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one and the same. However, I am sure there are those who differ individually in their opinions about such things. But according to our Church Covenant we believe in a triune God.

For God sakes. Ofcourse Jesus was created. EVERYTHING is created by God.

And to all those who oppose the idea, think about it. Your souls have been put there by GOD too. Not by the people who gave birth to you.

Physically you may be the end result of someone elses actions but your soul comes from God. So God created you the same way He created Jesus.
